Ya know the usual Lake Effect snow. That pesky Ole Man Winter! I wonder when he'll croak! anywho:

I might be able to make the night round.

It snowed some up around here, but nothing significant. It will definately be alright for anyone coming up this weekend.

I know we had a lot of snow and freezing rain in Central Ohio. Is everyone still going?

Not to be Negative Nancy about Twinsburg's food, cause it is really good. I just hope they have enough...they ran out at dinner last year...

I'm so excited/ horribly nervous for this competition. I'm sitting here trying to type one of the three ..actually, four AP English papers I have due tomorrow and I can't get my mind off show choir. I really want to do well Saturday but even more so, enjoy it because it'll be my last time doing this, and I cant believe I'm going to be taking my last bow on a show choir stage in less than 48 hours, it's so hard to let go of. Wow, not trying to get too sentimental on here, sorry guys. But I'm glad it'll be Northcoast, because, we (euclid) get along so well with the Twinsburg kids, theyre great to us, it's just the funnest competition around, THEY UNARGUEABLY HAVE THE BEST FOOD IN SHOW CHOIR COMPETITIONS, and theres going to be great choirs to watch, so I guess it'll be going out with a bang of sorts, it's just very bittersweet, and I'm excited and hope the rest of my VCers are just as pumped so we can bring our A-game ;)

Yeah well let's hope Piqua is placed accurately at this competition. I agree with both Zach and Aaron. I just don't get why they haven't placed higher this year. When I first saw their show @ Marysville my jaw just dropped and was like "Dang ... they could probably win this". I can't wait to hear their ballad again, gosh - that song is a real eye-wetter.

I cannot wait to see all of the great groups. Can't wait to see Piqua and Marysville (If we arrive early enough to see them.)

you already know this, Zach, but i'm in complete agreement. i will say that sometimes i think their choreography is a bit odd/easier than they are capable of performing, but no other group is as consistently daring and entertaining as Piqua.

it also helps that they are one of the best costumed groups in the nation. three cheers for Tom Westfall for being one of the few fashionable choir directors.

And Piqua's show this year is by far, my favorite show of the year . Should be a good one!

I so agree!!!! I wish they were more respected throughout the state and nation. For some reason they never seem to finsish on top and I seriously just don't get it They always finish consistently but I seriously almost always have them in first or second. I guess they are one of those choirs that have a lot of fans in the audience, but the judges just seem to not like as much Seriously though I LOVE PIQUA!!!!

KEVDOUG - You left out the Cuyahoga Falls Results (which had three Northcoast attending groups).

Cuyahoga Falls Results:
1ru - Hurricane
2ru - Euclid
4ru - Solon

Should be interesting to see what happens. Especially for those last couple of finals spots.

Anyway. I'm most excited to see Medina and Piqua (again). Last time I saw Medina was before competition season and they were awesome, so I can only imagine how they are now. And Piqua's show this year is by far, my favorite show of the year . Should be a good one!

Yeah I knew I forgot one. These groups see each other so much it's interesting to see how the results end up. Anyone else going to this besides me?

First of all GREAT judges. Everyone is lucky to have them.

Marysville

2RU-Piqua
4RU- Teays Valley
5RU- Garfield Heights
7th- Solon

Poca

GC- Teays Valley
1RU- Hurricane
2RU- Garfield Heights
4RU- Capital

Piqua

GC- Marysville
1RU- Solon

Garfield Heights

GC- Marysville
1RU- Medina
2RU- Teays Valley
4RU- Solon

Portsmouth

GC- Hurricane
1RU- Piqua

This is crazy! Piqua beat Teays, Teays beat Hurricane, Hurricane beat Piqua. Who has the advantage?!? That's only one example. Impossible to pick placements.

My guess on Finalists...

Most likely...

Marysville (2GC's)
Teays Valley (2GC's)
Hurricane (GC, 2-1RU's)
Medina (1RU, 2RU)
Piqua (GC, 2RU)
Garfield Heights

Others Possible...
Solon
Capital
Norwell (Finalist at Fairfield Last year)
