GOODNESS! hello. my name is Alejandro and I'm a member of the Castle Knight Sensations. We were SO surprised when we recieved those 3 awards! We could have sworn that our choir didn't do so well today. But that's all in the past. Did anyone get a chance to see Castle, today, at Ben Davis? If so, how DID we look? I'm interested in knowing what other groups think of Castle

Well i was a host for the girls group and i really like how they opened with there show and i thought they did have a lot of volume. But i didnt get to see the rest of the show because i had to go to warm ups. And i cant wait to see castle next week. ;)

I take it you didn't get to go Chris?

hahaha
Sadly I couldn't go. I never updated that, did I? I had fraternity event going on saturday and then I have some things going on today so yeah, bummer, but I am going to the Indiana State comp instead.

First of all, I would like to congratulate Huntington North on their well-deserved grand champion award. You guys were amazing.

Congratulations to all the choirs that made finals. This was a tough competition and everyone took it to the next level.

Also, a special note for Warren Central. I thought you guys were flipping AMAZING! I actually had you in first, but way to go! Not only were you guys amazing, but the show was so entertaining. I can't wait to see your show again at Center Grove!

Do we not have results yet?!?!?!?

I know there were 3 Concert Choirs, 3 Single-Gender Choirs, and 5 Mixed Championship Choirs...I was told they were starting the First Finalist for Concert Choir @ 7:20 and they were going in half hour slots after. So going by that, Premiers should have gone on, oh about 2 HOURS AGO. What is wrong people?! haha " border="0" alt="annoyed.gif" />

Depressing day for Edgewood. Two Judges had them in 3rd, Two Judges had them in 4th and one had them in 8th which killed their score and took them out of the top five. I thought you guys did AMAZING today and don't hang your heads, just work hard in practice and good things will come.

I always had Lawerence North in my predictions. Very good group. Was very impressed with them last year. I definietely think they will be in finals, but I don't think you can really label this competition a "blood bath"....no, I just don't think it works like that.

Okay, okay, okay...I couldn't help but notice that a lot if not all of you guys said that your predictions for Ben Davis were based on what you've seen in the previous years. First off, let me say that I am totally psyched to be going to BD again this year and I have a profound respect for a lot of the choirs going...but seriously...can somebody please cut Lawrence North some slack?

Results for last years Ben Davis Giant Spectacular:

LN's Concert Choir got 1st Runner Up.
LN's Hipstreet (Women's) got 1st Runner Up and Best Visuals only few points behind North Central.
LN's New Dimension got 2nd Runner Up beating both Warren Central and Brownsburg (who got 4th runner up to Warren Central).

Now I am not saying that the results will be the same, but I all I am saying is cut LN some slack...we're good too, damnit!

I want to wish everyone competing good luck, and that I am excited to be going up against such high ranking choirs...and I agree with the person who said that the results are up in the air this year.

THIS IS GOING TO BE A BLOODBATH AND THIS IS ANYONE'S GAME!

Good luck everyone!
