ALOT of people in River City Revue wanted to take the ACT that day too. our director simply told us we would fail show choir(yes its a graded class) if we didnt come(to Branson). that solved the ACT problem, unfortunatly, now i wont be taking it untill June.

Poor Poor Joshy

^ I hope Joshy kicks butt! Go Hannibal.....though I've only seen a few shows, I know that Smith-Cotton was pretty good...and Nevada. But other than those two, I've never seen the others, but good luck to everybody!

i cant begin to list out her record, but she is an amazing teacher, she used to be the director for Smith-Cotton (who will be at branson)(though im sure she will be unbiased) shes pretty much amazing. she also judges smaller comps around missouri, i think she did Maryvilles comp this year... maybe Rockbridge (she has in the past.) she also directed the Northeast missouri district choir a few years ago

heres a little about Sandy:

-president of the Missouri Choral Directors Association,
-Outstanding Educator Smith-Cotton High School;
-Outstanding Educator for the Sedalia School District #200;
-Finalist for the Missouri Teacher of the Year;
-Outstanding Music Alumni from Central Missouri State University;
-Who's Who Among American Teachers;
-Most Influential Teacher Award presented by the University of Missouri-Columbia;
-Outstanding Music Educator Award presented by the National Federation of High School Activities Association 2004, (Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, North and South Dakota, Minnesota and Montana),

as you can see im a H-U-G-E fan

oh me too! i have worked with her several times (West Central All-District Choir, Solo and Small Ensemble Contest, etc.) and believe me, she knows what shes talking about!

Does anyone know anything more specific about this contest? I assume they're doing prelims / 2nd round of semi-finals then the finals of only 3 groups (as has been done in the past). Anyone know the judges? Just curious!
