I didn't know we would be the farthest, and it isn't going to be that bad because we are coming on Friday and statying Friday night and Saturday night.

Yay an overnighter in the AMAZING town of Cedar Rapids Iowa!!! lol

This is why schedules should be posted on the calendar It'd be soo much easier to find

Schedules usually are posted in the calendar; in this case I must've made the event before the schedule was out and forgotten to update it.

I agree, but I also like looking through the forum and reading different comments
I hope everybody has fun preparing for this competition.

Here is a question for all choirs attending: Which choir is going the farthest to get to the competition?

Fairfield is travelling around 8 hours (I think).

It's fun to read......just when I'm looking for one particular thing it'd be easier (and I'm lazy) haha

I think you win on traveling the farthest

Is that the case with me??? That I love Davneport North SOOO much that I complain every chance I can about the 2004 results?

I wasn't really thinking you were talking about North, more about West and how they went from 4th to 6th. But yes, this is the case with you. At every competition this year when you don't like the results you say the judging is screwy. I didn't know you are all powerful and whatever you think must be right. People do have other opinions than yours.

I wish I knew exactly who judged that year. But Dr. Kreitzer always hires people who judge NUMEROUS competitions a year and who judge at Mo-Show every year. Are you saying that the judging is always wrong then? Yet again I am tired of people blaming judges when a group they like doesn't do as well as one would hope...

I was talking about like how he just added a group into finals that wasn't supposed to be there.....and how like Onalaska 2004.....

And I'm just saying look at those comps now....that's all I gotta say

I agree with Adam....

2004 seemed to have a lot of judging issues compared to most years.....which hurt some competitions.....

They just sent a tentative solo schedule out today, and hope to have finalized one soon. Once we received the finalized schedule, I'll post it on here.

Thank you.

erm, I have no idea. I'd guess probably 8-12ish. But I can try and check with the girl who usually runs the solo comp.

Thanks, there's no hurry. I was just wondering because I'll be singing in it.

Has that ever happened before, or does anybody think it will ever happen again?

That hasn't ever happened before at Mo-Show. Idk about Jefferson. It probably won't happen again at Mo-Show unless there is another tie, or unless the judges feel they judged a group too harshly.

Let's get back on topic (sorry it was my fault anyways)

Jefferson.......
