I want to say a big attaboy to Castle. They only had 23 people on stage and they were better than half of the finalists. If you guys would've had 10 more people you would be top 3 at this competition.

I would like to say a huge thank you to JFreak213. We gave our all at the competition yesterday and, though we did not make finals, it is very rewarding to get have this recognized by the audience. Thank you so much for your kind words and congrats on placing!

LC choir members would just like to thank all the other choir members and spectators that complimented us on our show this year! It was very much appreciated! Congrats to Carmel Ambassadors! I heard you guys put on a great show! The NC Counterpoints put on a KILLER exhibition! ISSMA state should be interesting!

This was a really fun competition! Congrats to Carmel on the GC (those finale costumes...wow!!), and to all the finalists! I didn't get to watch many performances because my hair was being difficult, but I'm sure you all were wonderful!

I hope everyone enjoyed the performances by CP and Descants, as well!!

Can't wait for next year! :]

Carmel was amazing, I didn't expect any less. It was probably the most elaborate costuming I've ever seen in my life. The vocals, showmanship, choreography, and everything were extremely impressive. Well deserved Grand Champion.

CR Jefferson was also very good, but I knew once finals were over that their visual score would be too low to get anything better than second place. If their choreography wasn't the same every single year they could easily have won this.

Lawrence North definitely blew me away, that was probably the big surprise of the night.

Ben Davis and Pike were both good too, but just not strong enough. Ben Davis' show had way too many solos, during the entire ballad the choir was just serving as back-up to the two soloists.

Women's
Lawrence North's show was incredibly sloppy. I know Woody's choreography is hard to look clean, but it was still pretty bad. The vocals were all over the place and there were several performers (a couple who were in the front) who just looked like they weren't trying at all.

Lawrence Central wasn't too bad, I don't remember much else.

Carmel, of course, dominated. Very good, solid, entertaining performance. I'd easily consider Accents one of the greatest Single-Gender show choirs out there.

North Central "Counterpoints" were amazing, as usual. If they were competing and not just in exhibition they would have taken grand champion. Counterpoints NEVER cease to amaze everyone.

All in all a great contest, I had a great time.

I'll be the first to say it...CR Jeff should have won. They were simply the better group out there tonight. Don't get me wrong, Carmel was good. But man, from what I was watching, Carmel just wasn't the best. But I don't get paid to judge...so take my words with a grain of salt.

Carmel always had a reputation of stepping it up in finals. They'd be concerned with just doing well enough to get in, then blow everyone away in the second round. Will see if that happens again.

Sorry onTarget, you're too old to be at this contest.

You might try a Barry Manilow tribute concert, it might be more up your alley.
