So, Nevada is getting ready to leave, we have to leave at midnight to get there in time for our first choir's performance. We are way excited, and can't wait to see everyone at our first comp!!

why arent Sullivan or MTZ at this one this year?

Mt. Zion chose Danville instead. I'm not sure where Sullivan is.

I'm definately excited about this competition! It is the first time that Hannibal has been able to go in many years! I'm really eager to see City Lights, becasue I didn't have the chance to in Pleasant Hill. I wanted to watch Nevada but with the schedule there is no way... I'm just hoping that I can see as many new choirs and shows as possible. We all want to win, but I still want to say that I have met some of the nicest people at competitions. It's easy to get caught up in the rivalry, but I believe that the friendships you make are way better than the trophies (although trophies arent so bad either) haha... Anyway... enough being corny... I can't wait to see everyone there!

Yeah, the last few years Smith-Cotton's been pretty dissappointed with Troy. Thing is we're SO much better this year than we have been in the past, so this would be the year for us to go. Weird... I know. We're going to Quincey, IL instead, this the same weekend.

Do you mean Quincy is the same time as Troy, because it is def. not. Quincy is March 10th- its always the second weekend in March. Guess it will be good to see new choirs there. Quincy is a long competition. They also hold Best Jazz Bands that day- so its show choir AND jazz bands- all in one day.
