Tiger Drive from Marshall, Minnesota, I believe. I think they just started competing last year, I remember seeing them at Sioux City Heelan's competition.

Maybe I'll dig out my program from there if I get the time to.

This is the complete list of groups in time slot order.

La Crosse Logan (girls)
Tomah
Marshall
Sioux City East
12:20- Davenport West
Altoona
La Crosse Logan
Neenah
Mitchell
Holmen
Westside
Sauk Prairie
Mt. Zion
Buffalo Grove

14 show choirs. Any idea who Marshall High School is?? If I wasn't an alumni of Davenport West, I would much rather go to Linn Mar over Onalaska. But, I've got to show my support!

The schedule almost ALWAYS is out in the first 3 weeks of November. They took a big hit on groups:

Here are the groups attending:

Davenport West
Holmen
Altoona
Omaha Westside
Mt Zion
Buffalo Grove
Mitchell
Neenah
Sioux City East
Sauk Prarie
De Pere
Tomah
La Crosse Logan

Finals for this one is really a toss up!

My prediction for finalists are:

Mt. Zion
Bufallo Grove
Sauk Prarie
Sioux City East
Omaha Westside
Mitchell

I talked with an alumni of Onalaska, and he said that they only have 13-14 groups signed up.

does anyone have a complete list of groups attending?

with times would be great, but since it's still around a month away, i understand if times aren't available yet.

I didn't have to ask because Tom Munderloh sent a letter listing them all! I'll have to pull it up because I can't remember all of them, but Marty DeMott, Anne Chapman, and Chad Alexander are all on the panel.

Well now you have! Sometimes students are required by their directors to address choreographers and any professionals with a title- it's not that odd.

Anyway, has anyone seen a schedule, or at least a full list of competitors for Ona? There was a letter sent awhile back with a list of judges, but I haven't heard anyone mention a schedule.

well then ana! who are the judges???? (lol i can't believe you haven't asked this question)

i expect Buffalo Grove to return (because if they don't the show choir world is over) and im sure Mt. Zion will return. Also probably Omaha Westside, Sauk Prairie, Eisenhower, Fort Atkinson... etc. Also I know Davenport West is coming

oh you better believe that Buffalo Grove is returning!!! we're excited to see everyone again!!

This is always an interesting competition considering it is such a major competition but it falls so early in the season... it is the first time that we get to see a lot of major groups and relatively the first time that we get to judge how the season will possibly pan out.

I am quite excited for this competition along with many other people here at westside and we are hoping for an excellent time.

I'm just about 100% sure that both the Onalaska Hilltoppers and OHS Express will be attending, but word on the street is that they won't compete.... not sure why.... should be another fun year! I always enjoy hosting groups, and making friends, and WATCHING everyone else be all nervous for finals instead of having to BE nervous. It just makes me feel all happy on the inside!

See ya'll there!

i know whenever I'm a host i feel more nervous than most of the people in my group! and just about as excited as they are!
