I think that Center Grove, Eisenhower, and Sullivan are givens to make finals...But the final two would be between Crete-Monee, Pekin, and Edgewood. I feel that any of those three can make the finals because they have all had their strong points in the last three to four years. I think saying that the Debtones have it in the bag is pretty bold. Sullivan, Crete-Monee, Edgewood, and Pekin have all had strong Single-Gender groups in the last few years. I know that Edgewood's Single-Gender group won quite a few titles last year and they return a lot of their girls. But it is all up in the air. I wish all the groups well and I hope it turns out to be a great competition.

I agree. Both of our groups have jumped huge hurdles in just the past year. Intuition made finals at Quincy for the first time ever and Noteables made finals and placed at every competition except one. As for seeing what has happened this year, I would say that we'll be one of the best groups Pekin has seen for a number of years, for both Noteables and Intuition.

predictions...assuming let's say....5 groups make finals.

GC: CG Sound System
1RU: Eisenhower Elite Energy
2RU: Pekin Noteables
3RU: Sullivan Singers
4RU: Edgewood Music Warehouse

oh, and Debtones have this in the bag.

Six groups make finals. And last year Sullivan was repeat grand champ with the noteables in a close 1st runner up.

I agree. I remember in 2005 and 2006 we competed against Crete on numerous occasions and Faces always had stellar shows. Very clean and amazing vocals.
