I watched Ankeny's show from last year about 5 times on YouTube last night. I freaking love the soprano sound. It solidifies my believe that Ankeny should win Best Vocals.

That being said, I also had a dream last night that EEE won and swept captions... weird...

Should be interesting... I agree with julio here, being in FDC during my high school days is a reminder of just how awesome Steve's choreo is, that being said i've got a younger brother in the group and watched them practice over break, they looked fantastic. I'm just hoping they surprise judges as much as they surprised me.

Based on how amazing I think Stephen Todd's choreo is, I definitely think that Mitchell is in the running for choreo! His stuff is great and if it's performed cleanly, it usually brings great success. lol. I sound like a nerd.

I personally love Stephen's choreo, and FDC definitely performs it well. I saw their 2008 show at Westside, and I called them winning that competition, so I have nothing against Mitchell.

That being said I've seen EEE win WAYYYY too many choreography caption awards to count them out of choreo contention.

I wish I could go to this! It looks to be pretty amazing. And yes. That drive is the worst! I drive down there every holiday. Its the worst during a blizzard. lol

I think no matter how this ends up, it will for sure be an awesome competition. Lots of great groups and all with very different styles.

Here's a shot in the dark.
GC: Ankeny
1RU: Eisenhower
2RU: Mitchell/Johnston
3RU: Johnston/Mitchell
4RU: Lincoln SW
5RU: GISH

BV: Ankeny
BC: Eisenhower will probably win this, but I think Mitchell could have a shot this year.
BB: ?? I don't know bands well enough to pick one.

I'd love to see FDC in the top 3 that would really make my weekend.

hmmmm well thats very limited information (no worries) so based off that last post i'm gonna predict:

GC: Eisenhower
1RU: Ankeny
2RU: Johnston
3RU: Mitchell
4RU: Lincoln Southwest
5RU: Grand Island Senior High

BV: Ankeny
BC: Eisenhower
BB: Eisenhower

the only thing I'm pretty sure of is the captions. I would be surprised to see the captions go any other way, unless ankeny got choreo too.
