Last night was amazing... everyone is really stepping it up this year and there has been some great progression over the last few weeks. I love the Burroughs festival... great attitudes, wonderful facilities, and that lighting is awesome! They really know how to throw a party (and still get finished at a reasonable hour!). " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Just wanted to say congrats to Burbank on another phenomenal performance, and big props to my MM brothers and sisters who did a fantastic job at their very first competition of the year. I am so blessed to know such an amazing group of people!

I have some HD goodies that will be coming down the pipeline in the next week or so... just gotta get caught up on some schoolwork first (the festival season is killing my grades!) , but I have some really good stuff to share soon. Keep your eyes peeled!

Question for Chula
Is the young lady who sings the solo for Shadowlands the same one that sang the solo for either Foolish Games or How do I get you alone last year? I just love her voice.

shadowlands soloist is michelle alcoba and last year she was the soloist for alone.

I have to say that my FAVORITE show of the whole day was Los Al's Xtreme mens group. That Spiderman number rocked the house!!! That made my whole day.
I also thought most of the groups were better last nite than on Friday night. You guys were all crazy good. I can't wait to see what you all do over the next several months. Good job!

It was an exciting night, and I know I speak for all of Soundvibes when I say that we felt much better about our Burroughs performance than the one we gave at Diamond Bar. It's still early in the year, and I'm excited to see how we improve, as well as all of the others.

Major congrats to Los Al by the way. You guys rocked tonight. I was so impressed.

Burbank swept every first place and music/show plaque. Except their Intermediate Girl's Sapphire did not get music...haha. That's still pretty good though.

But here are the other results:

Advanced Mixed:
1st-Burbank
2nd-Hart
3rd-Los Al
4th-Brea
5th-Bonita Vista

Advanced Women's:
1st-Burbank
2nd-Bonita Vista
3rd-Hart
4th-Brea

I forget the morning results other than the fact that Burbank got first in every division haha.

I think i heard that burbank choirs swept the morning division but i have no clue about the night portion.

By The Way: based on recent opinions and competition placements it seems like Burbank is a force to be reckonned with! Nice to see a change with who wins these days
