Clinton and Ankeny Centennial and Auburn would have been some great additions and I think they'll be missed. Still, it's a great line up. Definitely one of the best, most stacked competitions of the year.

Couldn't even begin to make predictions. Probably Los Alamitos for first place maybe but beyond that? No clue.

I'm so heartbroken that Centennial isn't attending! They have a such a cool show, and everyone needs to see them! Centennial and Prairie are two really great groups to represent Iowa, and show everything the state has to offer! Prairie, go out there and represent us Iowa folk!!!

Should be a good one. I think we all would have loved to see the Clinton addition to that list however.

Smith-Cotton needed to trade times so them and Prairie have switched performance times

Yes the drawing today will be at 1pm CST

My director told us that it will be broadcasted on the FAME website so I'm assuming that they will make it another Livestream.com event like they have done with the other FAME events this year

They should have done it after school for everyone so that students can see when they are performing live!!

I heard today they are drawing for times. Does anyone know where the video for this could be found? I think they are drawing at 1?

Edit: I am assuming central time

Is there still no word on judges? I would have to assume that this would have to be the most qualified panel in the country to judge such a wide variety of show choirs. Good luck to all who compete.

It's interesting that Smith-Cotton was extended an invitation. Somewhat surprising for an 8th place finish at Branson, so I assume the other groups ahead of them declined? It's a fantastic opportunity for those S-C kids, just seems like an odd choice since FAME Finals doesn't appear to be hurting for groups this year.

It would appear that they are trying to get back to the caliber of the 2013 FAME Championship!
I am going to have to try to get there.

I had similar thoughts. I am glad more groups are able to participate, I wish every show choir could compete, although I'm sure that would make this more than a two day event, maybe I wonder if other invitations have been extended to other groups who did not originally qualify (besides the ones already mentioned).

Also, I think I recall my director saying each past FAME victor was invited for the 20th anniversary to perform in exhibition. Is this true? And if so are any past victors attending to anyone's knowledge?

From looking on Carroll's website it looks like they will be attending Nationals as well

Any word on Lafayette Jefferson's status?
