that's exactly what i'm saying... and if we go to teays i bet we'd be competing against very good ohio schools. i just want my choir to feel proud of their hardwork this year.. haha

The thing about ISSMA and the divisional split is the small groups really can't consider themselves a "State Champion." As far as well-known choir go there are only 3 or so. The large division has North Central, Carmel, Ben Davis, Pike, Huntington North, Lawrence Central, Franklin Central, etc. Without beating those groups I would have a hard time considering myself the state champion.

You will with no doubt qualify for ISSMA

so i was just looking at last years ISSMA forum and luers would be put in the small mixed division since we only have 500 students in our school... i would much rather compete at teays against choirs ( no offense to small mixed choirs) of our own caliber. that's up to our director though...

I just learned that there may be two more groups adding. That would bring it to 35!

I believe we would all know if those groups were attending.

There are around 15 groups in the Championship Class.

I thought it was pretty obvious he was kidding... if that many powerhouse groups were to show up at the same event, the website would probably freeze up from all the posting.
