What say we have a couple more festivals like this one, and not start actually competing until, oh... March?

Don't know how yesterday could have been any better. Congratulations Brett, Burbank HS, and all who participated. Terrific venue, helpful and eager parents, and you couldn't ask for a better panel of clinicians. I know Storm Ziegler was particularly impressed with the camaraderie shown by all of the groups. He said he couldn't wait to get back to Iowa and share that with his own choir. High praise, indeed!

Great job Burbank, great job Southern California show choirs!

Maybe Cedar Rapids will start to love eachother now!

Sounds like this was fun!

To all the Burbank kids, parents and volunteers....well done! See Brett, we knew you could do it and do it well.

I was impressed by the organization and ease that you displayed for a first time event. I think this could be the beginning of a great tradition.

As the season kicks off, good luck to everyone. I can't wait to see all the shows and hear all of the wonderful music.

See you soon!

Burbank:

Good call hosting the dance.

It was hard for me to do it last year since we had to get people to make a separate trip up to JBHS.

Much easier the way you guys did it.

Ohhh! I liked your spiffy signage. :]

To Brett Carroll, all the Burbank choirs and especially all the amazing Burbank parents!

I'd like to extend a tremendous CONGRATULATIONS on a spectacular show choir experience! It was absolutely wonderful! The "Blast" was a very well organized "High Classy" event that you can be proud of. I sincerely hope this becomes an annual So Cal thing. I can see this thing becoming a bigger deal for the years to come, that you'll have to move it to the convention center in a couple years =)

On behalf of Chula Vista, THANK YOU so much!

Tony Atienza

Ps. Thanks for holding the show for us. We didn't want to miss Impressions and were thrilled to not have missed their show.

=)
