hey everyone, hope everyone is getting excited for showcase! I'm in charge of the solo competition again this year so i'm hoping it will run even better than last year. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I know all the hosts are excited for their groups, looking forward to seeing you all there!

I just want to let you all know ahead of time that it's going to be so chill. You guys are going to love it.
Buuuut in order for this to be true I kind of need a list of everyone in your choir and an estimated number of extra people we should get stuff for. Also, tell me some of your inside joke-things that your choir has had this year like the tigger head thing i've been seeing in many of your signatures on here haha. OH and a list of all of your set songs of coursee

Many directors expressed that they would prefer a later date as well.

Its going to be a great time!
i know how this is going to feel this year because in march hart is going to hawaii and then like 3 days after we get back we have encore on like the 14th and 15th(don't hold me to the dates). Yes encore is two days this year...don't know why, but my parents have done the food for encore the last 7 years and the last 3 i have been at school from like before 6 in the morning to about 12:30 am the next day. So long story short im going to be exhausted!!!
The Burroughs Competition used to be held in April and we are glad that its back to April. With Pop Show in February, its far better for us to have some time in between.
Many directors expressed that they would prefer a later date as well.
yeah the date was moved later because hosting our competition after going to a competition the friday night before was way too hard. especially for those of us having to be back at school at like 6 30 in the morning to host.
