So it's looking like my work might not allow me the time off required to come to SoCal.

After last night, MUCH respect to Burbank. I didn't get to see them last night because their time slot was always the one right before ours, but i could hear their vocals from backstage, and it was incredible. they are gunna be tough for ANYONE to beat this year at SoCal.

They also are pretty quality people. There seems to be lots of stereotypes about Cali ppl in general in indiana, but after talking with choir members from Burbank last night, and Burroughs members last year in Chicago, they are both really impressive people. ALL of CP were impressed with you. So congrats on a good competition Burbank, and best of luck this year, see ya at FAME NYC.

Thanks so much! We had an amazing time. You guys were amazing competitors as well. Good luck in your season!

BOTH days will now be at the NEWLY renovated 1,339 seat Balboa Theater, downtown San Diego! RIGHT next to Horton Plaza

868 Fourth Avenue, San Diego 92101
Balboa Theater

Theater information

I decided not to have it at Copley on Saturday due to Union Stage costs and the convenience of keeping all equipment, lighting and risers at Balboa for both days. Also the convenience of having it RIGHT next to Horton Plaza makes food access the BEST variety for the students in any show choir competition!

Horton Plaza Food places

Also within walking distance is...

Old Spaghetti Factory

Hard Rock Cafe (across the street)

Take a bus down! I'm taking a bus from Rexburg Idaho to St. George Utah and driving over with one of my friends who lives in St. George. It's actually pretty affordable- I looked at rates online and they were fairly cheep- only 60 dollars round trip. Lucky for me my cousins live in SD so I should be able to stay with them <img src="style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Well I would take a bus down, but I think my parents would be pissed if I did take a bus down to SD, and the school I am affiliated with all of my friend would freak out, but many would just be like wtf....

Don't be lazy, Ethan. It's fully within your power to pick up some extra shifts at Wal-Mart.
