Great news! Twinsburg will be performing "Wings" this week! (right after Santa Baby and before Run, Run, Rudolph) Scott and I decided that awards with food attached is our real reason for doing show choir. Don't get in between two skinny, hungry directors and wings!!! (Scott prefers sesame chicken and I prefer plain...I am a simple boy)

Sorry for the typo...worst part is three people read it, and none of us caught it!

I am thrilled to announce the addition of a new caption award at the Solon Show Choir Invitational!

Since Little Mix's "Wings" seems to be the show choir song of the year, and we will have 5 or 6 groups performing this song on Saturday(plus Solon), the "Best Wings" award will be presented during the afternoon awards. This award is sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings in Bainbridge Ohio. The judges will choose this award and the winning choir will receive a beautiful trophy and the Director of that shoir will receive a $50 gift certificate to Buffalo Wild Wings!

Thank you to B-Dubs for the sponsoship! We can't wait to see everyone in Solon on Saturday!

This may be the coolest thing ever. Okay, it is the coolest thing ever.

*choir OR show choir

+1 Häakon Point™

Edit: I don't really understand why people don't like this... It doesn't bother me, but I find it strange that this is getting thumbed-down

We are going to let the live stream question linger, and allow the anticipation to build until no one can stand it any longer...

In other words, maybe. We are working out the technological kinks to avoid pink curtains, random ads and the like.

Why would one want to avoid pink curtains?

After doing a lot of soul searching... and having a friend tell me I was being stupid for having such a ban on predictions, I'll guess I predict:

5RU- Medina
4RU- Garfield Heights
3RU- Piqua
2RU- Findlay (BV)
1RU- ETC (BB)
GC- Twinsburg (BC)

I remember when I was in high school how I would have to explain to the younger members of our group how these predictions were nothing but phooey and were all for the fun. I guess I lost that notion for awhile. Actually, I honestly kind of enjoyed writing this post. And I am going to enjoy it even more when I get them absolutely wrong

My pleasure! Thank you guys providing such a great forum for students, directors and fans.

BTW, if anyone doesn't want to wait in line to pay for their wristbands when they get here, you can pay for them online at http://solon.es/soloninvitational.

Print out your ticket, present it at the door and you will get your wristband!

Thanks, Mr. Ferencie, for the updated performance times! Euclid Central MS was removed and the performance times have been updated. It's awesome when directors are involved and able to post up-to-date and accurate information! Wish this happened more often!
