And taylor I completely agree with you... and I am definately unbiased. Davenport Central has not gotten enought credit. They are a dynamite group this year. The vocals are phenomenal and the choreography looks great. I'm a big fan of you guys and I feel your group is ridden off because of so so shows in previous years. You all are legit fo sho!

I don't mean to sound biased, pushy, or anything like that, but I don't think that our choir is getting enough credit. If you've seen Central Singers Inc. before, then you can't really compare our past shows from this one. The choreography is tighter than usual, the vocals are a vast improvement over past years, and we're just overall much better. I also believe that results have shown that we're much better than last year (e.g. Grand Championship and Best Vocals over two very good Cedar Rapids groups). I realize that this is people's opinions, and those who are voicing them seem to know very little about our show. I'm just saying that I'm very confident that we'll be able to make finals. Plus Totino judging has been very good to the Davenport schools.

Now that my little hissy fit is over
I think the finalists will be:

Bemidji
LaCrosse Central
Davenport Central
Jainesville-Craig
Waconia
If they can pull out a good show I would put Cedar Rapids Jefferson in there. Bloomington Jefferson and Papillion both have very legitimate claims to being in finals. This one is quite the toss-up.

I put you guys in finals ;)

Martin. It'll be like swingin' on the river all over again. You can host the hosts of the competition. Bring us to our warm-up and everything...?

even tho they are 3A i can really see benton making finals

I agree Trey. I can also see their ballad soloist,
Totally winning best male soloist. He's amazing.
But he does have some competition with Ben and Nathan.

I have to agree completely- of every competition I've ever been to I still remember how good the food was there. And that was my sophomore year!

Totino Grace has the best food of any competition I have ever attended. It's like eating a four star meal at a show choir competition.

Okay, I did my homework They give me a Director's binder for a reason!

The prices for admission:

Preliminary Competition or Finals Competition ONLY: $8 for adults, $5 for students
Full Day: $14 for adults, $8 for students

We'll also have a full concessions menu the entire day. In addition to our main menu for lunch and dinner, we have a full breakfast menu, and a pasta dinner. There are also a variety of snacks and beverages, like fresh-baked cookies, slices of cheesecake, and smoothies (fair warning- the "smoothies" last year were suspiciously closer to slushies- STILL DELISH!) Prices for concessions range from $.50- $6.00 for the pasta dinner.

We really try to keep things affordable for everyone wherever we can- especially for students!

Totino-Grace High School is definitely not known for its size, but we do our best to provide a nice environment for all of our guests. Our room hosts are already hard at work planning their homeroom decorations, and we are all getting excited for a GREAT day of show choir!
