It just really stinks for Pekin and Urbandale who compete the day before everyone else does. I really feel that this could throw a wrench into the outcome alone. We shall see!
I'm confident the judges will judge the Thursday night groups fairly and won't leave too much "wiggle room" to score groups on Friday. The judging panel they've assembled is a very experienced one.

Now...I'm not comparing my group to Buffalo Grove last year or predicting we'll win this or anything. But, didn't Buffalo Grove perform on Thursday night last year and then win the whole competition?

Let's take a shot at it. I only have seen half the groups so it might seem a little weird.

GC: Burbank
1RU: Fairfield
2RU: Los Alamitos
3RU: Urbandale
4RU: Findlay
5RU: Sauk Prairie

I am SO excited! My birthday is that friday!
I have a lot of predictions, but I'm going to keep them to myself since I haven't seen everyone's shows yet! This will be an amazing competition!

Hmmm given that I've seen one of these groups (three after this weekend my predictions for at least the top five would be
GC Burbank
1st Rup Los Alamitos/Fairfield
2nd rup Los Alamitos/Fairfield
3rd rup Urbandale
4th rup Findlay
5th rup Pekin/Mundelein/Another group that I am not educated on lol

I've heard of Burbank and know that at least last year they rivaled Burroughs. I've gotten to watch a couple videos as well and I was rather impressed. There show was very interesting last year. Now this year could be a whole new ball game and the fact that they're all the way out in the heart of the Midwest may or may not play in their favor.
I've seen Findlay and I'm never really impressed by them. They do great but what I saw this year was nuts. Their closer has like 86.5 things going on and I just couldn't focused.

I've also heard of Los alamitos and have heard positive things about them so they could very well switch with EEE for second.

Fairfield seems to be having a rough season. Now this could be because of where they're competing or the judges but whatever. They're usually a good group and I could seem them switching with Los Alamitos(I Love saying that! Lol).

Uh captions let's see shot in the dark

BV Burbank/Fairfield
BC Burbank
BB Fairfield/Findlay

edit.
I think that this will be a pretty tight competition. So many great groups in one place.
I kinda wanna go but unfortunately I'm gonna have to work!! Although I could prob go to the Friday performance! It is like a three day thing right?

After Burbanks performance at Los Al I would be stunned if In Sync didn't walk away with Grand Champion and best vocals. As good as Burbanks Vocals were last year I think they might be even better this year.

When I was there (2007) they used the Ryan Theatre for prelims and the Opry house for Finals.

That is the only year I know that they have done that, but that is the correct theater. Thanks, Rian!

Trivia: Ryan Theater was former location of Showstoppers Nashville.
