yep anderson did "coffee in a cardboard cup".. reminded me a little of the FC cookie song. but i could relate to it more because it was coffee... and we know i have starbucks problems.
speaking of, did anyone try the coffee at MIC? i heard it was amazing. the guy donated it and in turn asked for free advertising. my parents were all about it lol.

hey anyone in fairfield- random question. your riser set up was insane... is it harder to learn choreo on that then on a standard set up? which do you like better? it looks awesome from stage when you're dancing, but kind of like a death trap when they're empty. lol super intimidating blushing.gif . so yeah, PM me and tell me how that goes cuz i'm curious.
oh and by the way, LN, your "honorary host" tells me your dance off in warmups was super cool. i wish we had dance offs. oh well maybe next time?

oh MIC. *sigh* that was fun.

I actually heard good things about it yesterday. But the first time i ever saw Fairfield was last year at MIC. I'm sure it was also pretty tight though.

SO how about HIPSTREET! Hats off to you ladies for a job well done! AND... Ben Davis ladies I was told you were SO excited to make finals, and I heard one of your reps freak out from back stage... sooo cool to see you so happy! Made my day. Well, that and teaching my WV choir some midwest slang and trying to learn a southern accent (didn't work, but thanks for trying!)

Sorry I guess none of us Ohio folk realized we were dealing with the goddess of show choir, in the "best of the midwest" and I forgot you knew everything. Perhaps us in Ohio arent so wrapped up in our own reputations and history to realize as Highschool students the judges who have years of experience and college degrees are actually more qualified to make the decision of the placements. In the real world people like you are going to fail once something doesnt go your way because instead of striving to be better you're gonna complain and question it. I dont take away from any of the accomplishments NC has attained over their rich history, but certainly if it were a program still being built, attitudes like yours would only tear it down. You are truly lucky to be in a group that can be incredible in spite of you rather than because of you.

can't we all get along???????
a lot of these posts tonight have made me never want to return to this website again, as competitive as this world (especially show choir) is im totally disappointed in the way we've been acting today, as much as i love you all this is all so Petty, this indiana/ohio crap needs to stop, there are so many other things in this world that are more important to focus on then this whole, im more mature your more mature bull crap.....come on guys lets just change the energy in this forum, back to something more positive....we can do it, i know we are not all this BITTER!!!!!!!!!!! and if ANYONE at all takes offense to this post, don't blame counterpoints, don't blame north central, and don't even blame the state of indiana, blame me, aim your comments at NcAlto girl so that no large generalizations are made...then we can deal with this outside of here....come on now!!!!!!!!!!!
don't hate appreciate <<< yeah thats old dumb and over used but hey lets follow it!

just a thought... ohio choirs (and yes i am generalizing) come to indiana and have a history of doing poorly. (this is what i have noticed from the copetitions that i've been to) ohio choirs tend to do well elsewhere. with all of this talk of state to state loyalties and indiana is childish while ohio is mature seems a bit well immature. in fact (and yes i'm going to be a bit immature myself) i can remember several instances where OH choirs have blamed their loss on them being in IN, Cue the stupid not to mention fat jokes targeted towrds the judges, parents, and choir members from Indiana. So its not an exclusive thing to complain when you lose, its natural, its healthy. Its not just an Indiana activity.

Now for the ohio people coming on here saying, "Indiana is always so negative." Maybe we're so negative because we are the best of the midwest, and we were trained to pick out the little things. Maybe it's our strive for perfection and dedication that makes us ... not necessarly negative but we speak the truth rather than saying, "OH WELL CONGRATS ANYWAY, YOU GUYS SOOOO DESERVED IT." no, in the real world, you're not going to get that you're going ot get the truth and nothing but the truth. Ndon't call me tacky or any north central person tacky cause we live in the "citay" and we definitely aren't tacky... are you though??
Kthanksbye
I love you INDIANA

whattttt that is NOT  a slap in the face for fairfield!! shut up!!! i said sorry for LC because they are by far my favorite choirs. don't be rude. i wasn't being rude how dare you be 12 years old and say "I'M LOSING RESPECT FOR YOUR PROGRAM BECAUSE OF YOU." pfff go ahead, i think "the program" could careless about your anonymous self. please go sleep now, you're a little crazy.

i may be ignorant on the net, but i could honestly care less. the fact that you lose respect for me everytime i post is your problem. i don't care. i don't even know who you are!! hahaa. if i knew who you are maybe i'd care a bit (if i liked you) but you don't even exist in my life. especially the fact that you are anonymous. ohhhhhhhhh you're too much, kid. you're too much

but uh thanks...
and don't put words in my mouth saying that i am pretending about me saying sorry to my fellow LC friends. don't ever say that you know what you think i meant or what i think or what i said or what it meant when i said certain things. you're NOT in my head! shhhhush.

kthanksbye.

hmmm... im trying to see what ur problem is... i really hope that u are not this mean in real life... and i really hope ur smarter than these posts to say u dont care he's jus one person and blah blah blah this and blah blah that but he's not the only one that thinks that way... andim not jus saying students from choirs but also directors and sometimes even judges... what if some judge read this forum... and then judged u next year... i would bet money on it that he scores u lower than everyone else... now that is kind of far out there... but back to what i said... im trying to figure out why u are being so mean... and im hoping that ummm... its that time of the month and in a week you'll see that ur not being reasonable... if u care about ur choir at all i would stop posting negative comments...

now here is a perfect way to show that ur joking instead of saying well if u people knew me u would know i was kidding... u even stated urself that u dont know any of these people... but the thing about it being the time of the month... was a joke... so dont take it seriously... laugh about it... ok... HAHAHA

Okay...so we dont have to agree on the results...when do we ever????? We need to consider how mean and hateful it can be when you win a grand championship and it is degraded. It kinda takes the win down a notch. 40 plus kids from Fairfield were awarded Grand Champion...I am personally ashamed about a post I made earlier cause I thought about it and I thought back to when I was in high school and if I had read something like that...how I would take it.

Fairfield...I am full of Cincinnati love for ya. I went to college there. I am sincerely sorry if my post offended any one of you. The judges clearly thought you had the "full" package last night!! Great job and good luck the rest of the year.

You apologized to all the choirs because of the results. What a slap in the face to Fairfield. You can pretend all you want you took the results in a mature manner. You are possibly one of the most ignorant posters I have ever read. As you continue to post I continue to lose respect for you and your program.
