Anyway, I've saved my replies for the end of the Indy Season...
FC SINGERS!!! You have had a phenomenal year. Your win at Ben Davis is exactly what ISSMA Is about. GC Mixed, GC Single Gender, GC Concert Choir. Do not take this 2nd place at state as a loss. Carmel had an INCREDIBLE show, (and I was sure they'd sweep, even though I love you
Your heart and individual performances pushed you over the edge of "Crisp clean and flawless" to "real performance". After Ben Davis You managed to put a fighting fire into one of the most elite choral programs around, The Counterpoints. They may have bested u in Choreo, but to take Vocals at state, against such a formidable opponent, proves that you deserve the powerhouse recognition you receive year after year.
I am so proud year after year to have been an FC Singer. It may be another "State Championship" for North Central, But u got em once. Where's the tie breaker? heh.
I love Indy show choir.
BTW, I didn't pay a lot of attention this year. Where was Lawrence Central?
there is nothing to explain this. i saw every group, and have seen most multiple times this year. i would never want to diminish other groups accomplishments. but the small mixed outcomes are very undeserving for about half the groups in attendance.
It was a very interesting outcome. I missed many of the groups in the afternoon, so I can't vouch for anything. It certainly was an exciting State Finals!

So proud of all my students today, and how beautifully they performed. Thanks to each and every one of you for being true blessings to teach.
