LOL!

Scott, you kill me- the post you just wrote is grammatically incorrect in like, every other sentence- hellooo random capitalization!

Haha! I know... and like I would actually forge those awful IM messages out of the blue, just to have something more against him? He contradicts himself anyways by saying "he didn't type the message" and then saying "I would NEVER post someone's private messages on a public forum." A clean slate will never be had for Scott Cowden... because he is a pathological liar.

I'm glad you have decided to block me from AIM, PM, and this forum... because if you remember, I never responded to any of your lame IMs and never PMed you anyways... I always made sure there was clarity, so everyone could know how much of a fool you are, right here! So it won't make much difference anyways. All is well!

"I still don't understand how you are in people's good books jorge... I am not the one who is constantly a top poseter, Who posts in every single part of this forum, and belittles others for disagreeing. My opinions were always just that, My opinions."

Let's see... I don't lie. I don't act like I know everything. I make friends, not enemies. I'm respected in the show choir community for the work I have done with my alumni choir, (unlike you). I post worth while information.

As for being in people's good books... I'm saddened and surprised by the fact that you haven't found the people who depise me! There are so many out there. I'll have to give you their addresses and numbers. You guys can form a group and gang up on me together. The problem is... they won't want you in their group.

Okay folks. " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> I'm done! I'm done being snarky!

If you'd like to join the I.H.J.G (I Hate Jorge Gang)... please send a self addressed stamped envelope to...

Adam "Jorge" Peters
111 N. Century
Walcott, IA 52773

Include a picture, a short essay why you hate me, and a $25.00 check for entrance.

Please... no anthrax or pipe bombs.

Okay... now I'm done.

Now for peace and healing... listen to this beautiful solo... it'll do the trick. LISTEN!

He's right folks... I DID doctor his IM message to me.

I...
#1- added the BOLD to "drama" and "drama queen".
#2- underlined "teaching"
#3- and starred the word "bull****" for language.

There you have it! I'm a fraud!

As for "wasting time tracking your posts". I was just the bearer of the news. I had no part in the tracking.

And as for Chris Brush... why are you bringing him into this? He has done and said NOTHING in this topic about you. Think before you speak (seems to be a general theme with you).

Now... Scott. I do appreciate that you want to be unaffiliated and want what seems like a "clean slate". But... you can't do that with a fake alias and fake school. You can't say you are from North Central and act like a Dad. That was my entire beef with all of this. Not because I really can't stand you and you have proven yourself to be more than an ignorant and foolish individual... but because, like I said... you and others (you aren't the only people I have busted... just ask the kids from Troy... it's why I get the name "TROY HATER") can not use fake indentities.

Have I caused drama? Sure... only because you were foolish enough to do all of this.

Now... Go and be Scott Cowden, unaffiliated show choir guru of all Indiana and Canada. Maybe if you would think before you speak and posted worth while things... we'd forget the past and maybe move on. I doubt that will happen... but we'll see.

God speed!

First of all , yes you did alter that message, because i would never type something so grammatically incorrect...

I still don't understand how you are in people's good books jorge... I am not the one who is constantly a top poseter, Who posts in every single part of this forum, and belittles others for disagreeing. My opinions were always just that, My opinions. The fact that people blew a lot of things out of proportion because they disagreed is not a problem of mine any more. Posts from me now are nothing more than encouragement and congratulations to participating groups.

Unlike You, I would NEVER post someone's private messages on a public forum. I would NEVER disregard an administrators Warning NOT to bring up this topic as you have done. I would never pretend to know all there is to know about show choir, choir, or anything related to that.

As i'm sure a lot of people who have graduated highschool and started a music major in college will agree, Everything i thought i knew in Highschool is Hardly the tip of the iceberg. In music there is ALWAYS something to learn and i've been very humbled by learning that over the past year. I wish some other people would realize that too.

I'm not posting in this topic any more, and Jorge, i have blocked your PMs, AIM, and your posts on this forum. So if you decide to waste your time writing a reply to this, Then i hope you have a great laugh out of it! Mkay?

Back to the real topic. I'm' sure North Central was a wonderful competition and i look forward to getting my DVDs so i can see all the shows. I'm Very excited to see the finalists though i wish LC had made it. . I've heard they have a great show this year! And Plainfield I'm excited to see you as well, always love your show and i think you're definately one of those "under the radar" groups who Should get more attention paid to them. Castle: I hosted you guys a few years ago and i loved that show and haven't been able to see you since. Much Luck!

Scott

a doctored version of what i said on these forums.

Yet for some reason, Jorge and Chris Brush decided to spend their time tracking my posts, and Tracing my IP adress just because they had a Suspicion it might be me. Sad? for an adult choir director and a Student to be wasting time trying to catch some random person for having a fake account? wait isn't that something that the administrators are supposed to do?

Also, the reason i Used the NC name is because Most of the choirs i'm watching this year are competing in the same circle or at NC's competition. Lawrence Central, Huntington North, Ben davis, Franklin Central, Ben Davis, Anderson, Warren Central And of course my favorite North Central.

I'm not Sure why i even posted back to this, But i'd hope that people on here realize that i DID try to take the High road on this matter and just because Someone decided to be childish doesn't mean that i'm causing drama. Clearly it was started 100 percent by Chris Brush, Jorge, and Adam from lacrosse (sorry i don't know your last name).

Thanks to all for listening,
And Jorge... stop this, it's just ridiculous.

Jorge,

I clearly aknowledged that yes i did create an alias on here. And i think it's pretty sad that i contacted you with hopes of resolving this person to person, but you still decided to cause the drama and Post a doctored version of what i said on these forums. If anyone who has a working mind is reading this... Please do go read my posts, you'll see i haven't said anything the entire time i've been on that would offend people, And in earlier times i HAD made comments that were rude and uncalled for. Thats where this is all coming from... I created an alias on here and kept my posts relevant only to indiana show choir because i didn't want to cause any drama by coming back to the site since i asked Haakon to delete my account after last season. I'm the same as everyone else on this forum. I'm a student, I was in show choir, I'm at University studying choral music and piano performance in Canada. And my opinions are worth no more than anyone else's.

Clearly it was started 100 percent by Chris Brush, Jorge, and Adam from lacrosse (sorry i don't know your last name).

I'm sure Haakon will get involved at this point and i'd like to tell him that I would have added an account under my own name, but almost a year ago i Did tell you not to let me rejoin because i Really didn't need the drama... So i figured if i submitted, you'd reject it... I was going to indianapolis for Reading week break and wanted to see if there were any good comps to go to while i was in town.

If you can change my data to Scott Cowden and the email adress [email protected] that would be great, if not, delete this account and i'll re submit. But i do wish to remain unaffiliated because i truly am. I have no connection to any choir in particular and just wish to be in the loop.

Thank you Rian for keeping the mood light! lol (i'm sure i'll ttyl)

Thanks to all for listening,
And Jorge... stop this, it's just ridiculous.

Scott C Cowden.
Ex Director of the Ubumchuck canadian choir of Northern Alberta.

(obviously a joke people...)

Just so everyone knows that choir_dad76 is Scott Cowden...

I came home early this morning to view this sitting in my IM box-

Jorge, i just had to tell you that i think it's pretty sad of you to call me out on the boards just to cause drama you big drama queen. I said nothing whatsoever offensive in any of my posts because all i wanted to know is what was going on. Being full time in school out here and performing and teaching full time doesn't give me time to just watch endless videos and go to every comp like you do.
(11:13:32 PM): I wish you would grow up and quit thinking that you're something your not.

(11:14:06 PM): and i wish people would have enough common sense to take your opinions with a grain of salt and nothing more.

(11:14:49 PM): not like you KNOW anything anyone else does, We've all been around the same game for a long time now and there's no reason to fight and argue like this...
(11:16:18 PM): I'm sure someday we'll see eachother at a competition and i don't want to have this bull**** going on...
(11:16:36 PM): Have a good day, and feel free to contact me any time to discuss this.

(11:16:37 PM): Scott

That's Scott, everyone!

Well unfortunately Scott cowden is no longer director of the Ubumchuck canadian show choir of Northern alberta...(the one that beat clinton in 2004)... i heard They decided to hire a polar bear instead...Plus the school igloo kept melting due to global warming, so cutbacks in music... tada... Or yes, maybe it is because they found out he liked franklin central! i really bet thats it!!!

Yeah so I'm from West Jones (The Mississippi group) and I was really impressed with some of the groups there... I really liked Franklin Central, Plainfield, and Lawrence Central... I was really suprised that LC didn't make Finals... Before this competition I heard great things about Carmel, but I really wasn't impressed with them... The green outfits for the closer weren't very pretty if you know what I mean... Castle was also pretty good, but there was one part in the closer that looked very vulgar to me... Those were the only groups I saw, and I'm sure there were several other good groups...

So someone tell me what you guys thought about our (West Jones) mixed group... It was a MUCH different style of show than any other group's, but I thought we did a really good job... It was probably our best performance... From a viewers' perspective, what did those of you who saw us think?

Maybe this person is Scott Cowden because apparently liking Franklin Central is taboo around here... and apparently this Scott character likes FC.

Are you sure? I have a video from the 1998 & 1999 competitions at the MIC and in the opening credits, it says North Centrals' "Music in the City"

Permission to hold the contest was originally given if it was called the Met. Inter. Conference Competition.
You are correct, though, because for a couple of years an attempt was made to change the title from Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference Competition to Music in the City, but the principal got wind of it and was very displeased. The name reverted to the original and hasn't changed since.

This "dad" writes just as Scott Cowden used to.

This "dad" also seems to have the same interests as Scott Cowden. FC and DCI. (look at previous posts)

This "dad" being "away" is lame... probably in Canada?

This "dad" IS Scott Cowden... we aren't stupid.

And of course... there are IP codes.

It's just unfair to North Central. But, you would pick a school with a very reputable name, and since FC seems to have shunned you...

Congratulations to all groups performing last night. Being that i'm out of town i wasn't able to see the shows but i'm Keeping caught up on here. To me it seems like no one has anything to say about the ISSMA scoring until after a competition where North Central doesn't win and LC doesn't place well. The reason the score sheet works, is because truly The best choir always wins. For a long time it was north central, Last year it was Carmel who deserved the GC, and this year it may well be FC. The only problem in my opinion with the ISSMA contests is not the scoring, But the judges. I definately think there needs to be a better way to get judges for these competitions. The idea is that they use the same scoresheet so that In theory every contest is judged the same. but with judges being objective, and having different taste, scores will change with every panel.

Issma should hire a panel of judges agreed on by the directors in the district, to judge all the qualifiers (Ben Davis, Pike, North Central, Lawrence Central) and State. I believe those are all the qualifiers aren't they?

Way to Go FC! on your 3rd GC of this season, and congratulations all groups on what i'm sure were fantastic performances.
