Kay, the obnoxious font is entirely unnecessarily; if no one's replied then it means no one does yet. :|

However, I do know that schedules have gone out to directors; I'll see if I can swipe our director's copy, just to photocopy it or something.

Yeah - you're probably right...

But a few things:

1) I'm an alum, so I can't exactly "ask my director" as someone suggested, because I don't personally know anyone going! Otherwise I would... really...
2) I'm a local Chicago resident who simply wants to attend...
3) This contest is just ONE WEEK away - that's the main reason for my frustration. I'm trying to make plans for this coming Saturday and am totally unable to. I'd just call the school, but that's a bother to them during a busy week leading up to a contest - and frankly, I thought that was what this site was great for - getting information like this out to the public!
4) Schedules have regularly been posted MUCH earlier than this for other events, so I'm curious what the hold up is for this one. If they don't have a schedule yet - well, I'd like to know! (but I find that HIGHLY unlikely).
5) If an obnoxious font finally gets an answer going - well, I don't think I'll apologize for that!

Well, that pretty much covers everything. But in all seriousness - a BIG thank you to whoever can provide the needed information. Let's start promoting this great event!

People (like myself) sometimes get Wheaton Warrenville "Classics" mixed up with Warren Central "Connection".

Ana and I were wondering the same thing, so I just put what I saw.
That would be great to see it explained

I do apologize if I offended anyone...I was merely saying that you should never count any group out! It was a response to a comment i felt very rude and degrading to the kids in both New Dawns and the Onalaska Hilltoppers.

Show choir is a wonderful outlet for an extremely large amount of talented students and musicians and i feel that it is only fair when we make our predictions or general comments that we are careful not to offend any one person or make them feel the work they are doing isnt good enough.

I do apologize for my rash response previously. It is all about the music and the performance, I just hope other things dont get in the way of the hard work that each and every group puts in all year round to make their show special and important to them and those who get the privelage of seeing it at competitions.

Like i have said previously, there are many TALENTED groups attending this competition this year and anyone of them has the potential to make Finals!

Happy Show Choir!

I'm very excited to be going to this!

1) it's local - so no need to get up early, or get home too late!
2) Hersey usually has a great set up - great sound, lights, etc. - I've always used them as an example of what a gym set up SHOULD be like.
3) Petal's coming back. I remember seeing them here in 2004 and they blew me away. Hope that happens again! It was so much fun!

Anyone have an official schedule? - it seems the list of schools is out and about, but surely there are times assigned by now. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller... Bueller...
