Finalists Prediction: . Albertville, Homewood, Petal, NE Jones, and West Jones. There could be many outcomes as to the placements of these groups; however, I feel as though this weekend will end somewhat like the following: GC: Homewood 1st RU: Petal/Albertville 2nd RU: Petal/Albertville 3RU: West Jones 4RU: NE Jones. We will have to wait and see. Hopefully West Jones ends up surprising me and doing better off than I expect. My predictions are based strictly on previous years. I wish everyone the best of luck this weekend and I look forward to seeing you all on stage!

Yep. I heard that today too. Lots of changes.
But as far as I know, two of the other panel judges are John Baker and David Molleonkamp. The solo judge is Ladona Tyson

Aww! I'm so excited to hear about Ladona Tyson! She was the solo judge at Petal last year when I did solo competition. I thought she was a TERRIFIC judge! She gave me ALL KINDS of constructive criticism, and she said it in a way that you KNEW she would tell you flat-out what you needed to fix, but she said it soo nicely, it was IMPOSSIBLE to think she was doing anything else!! Anyways, I am sooo looking forward to Saturday!!

News flash: Linda McEachran is no longer judging at South Jones. Mrs. Wanda Saul (the ex-director of South Jones "Company") has been added to the panel!

The schedule has changed. We got a fax today.

Picayune has dropped out so every group has been moved up a time slot. The men's division is now before lunch. And both Company and Jones Onstage will be performing as exhibition before the prelim awards. I think those were the only changes.

Nice! ;)
I can't believe that in approx. 93 hours, they will be making finals announcements. My LAST first competition...Bittersweet...

It'll be my last first too! Gosh I still remember my first first...how I was the only one in the entire group who did not make the costume change. Ha

Yep. My prediction is that the groups with the 5 highest scores will make finals. ;)

I also bet that in finals, the one with the highest points will get a trophy bigger than all the others... I hope I'm right!!!
