This is simply not factual. Auburn is fantastic, but Jackson Prep won best vocals and best show design against them at Mississippi Show Choir Contest. I have no connection to Jackson Prep and I haven't even seen them this year, but you can't say that Auburn is in a different league when Prep beat them in vocals and show design. Best of luck to all groups competing this weekend. It should be an awesome show.
Ohh my my mistake. I didnt know that information when i posted that. Ive seen auburn once this year at Montgomery, and i knew instantly they would be a force to be reckoned with this year. But now that ive heard Prep took some awards from them, it makes this competition much more intriguing. I will be in attendance and will be one of the most intense competitions in recent Southeastern show choir history.
It will honestly be a race for 2nd RU and lower. Auburn and Clinton are in a different league from every one else.

Woah pal sorry didn't mean to offend you. But at Montgomerys competition, the way they do scoring, it is impossible to be ahead by 2 points and win all three captions because you have to be ahead by at least 1 point in each category to win the caption therefore GCs have to win by at least 3 points. Althiugh none of this matters because it was 20 points #show choirdrama #loveyouAdamPeters

It was 20 points. I could send you picture of score sheet if you would like...it's on my phone? Don't want to petty but this is completely false. It's very cool to look at everyone's prediction because this is show choir and ANYTHING can happen...and it's fun to see everyone's perspective!!!
I would have predictions, but I can't decide because think Homewood is going to be neck and neck this year. Plus, you never know how the performances are going to turn out, or which choirs have gotten stronger over the week(s). No matter what past results are, it's a different weekend, different stage, and different judges with different opinions and different scores. You never know y'all.

Then again I haven't seen Albertville this year and although I don't thing Auburn will overtake Clinton, I feel as if they have a good chance of scoring very high this year from what I've seen. Nonetheless good luck to all of the groups performing

Clinton will win by a significant margin. However, I do believe it will be very close between the rest of the groups. I wish I could be there for this competition. It should be a good one.

Well, they also got swept by Homewood at the next competition, in addition to a third place finish behind Tift County, which I don't quite agree with. Now, the backdrop that says what day y'all are doing does add a lot to the show, so we'll see what that does this weekend.

Although I love Oak Mountain show this year and it's fun, I'm petty positive the margin between Auburn and Oak Mountain was around 20 points. I think it's hard for a choir to win every caption and only get first place by 2 points.
