Anyone else think the fact that Los Al has had the same theme as Wheaton the last 2 years is kinda........interesting?
I saw both shows live and I never made the comparison. They both approach the rags to riches story from a different angle and with totally different energy. I wouldn't compare them at all.

They're doing this video thing where it says your groups name on the screen and you cheer with the lights off. Lol. So its probs gonna be a couple more minutes at least.

As i read your updates on twitter, imagine you having this sports commentator voice.

This delay is ridiculous. They could have started with the girls' awards as soon as Los Al was over.

OMG! ANd now they are reading the names again?? Didn't we just see them all projected???

I gotta say..I kinda am rooting for someone to beat Los Al and John Burroughs...
sorry.

I just hate the fact that they are expected to win. I would love to see a somewhat of an underdog grab the title and prove that anything is possible rather than the obvious, ordinary, and expected outcome to take place. :/

Thumbs down away. haha

Now the moment of truth before awards. We will have a new FAME Nationals Grand Champion tonight! But in all honesty, every group that performed today was absolutely outstanding, amazing, astonishing, and every other thing out there!!! I don't know how these judges can decide an outcome for this phenomenal lineup of talent from all regions of the country. Even to be performing at a competition of this magnitude is such an honor. Good luck to all of your favorite groups for awards!!!

Josh Greene deserves it. Besides his amazing acapellas (Burbank In Sync's After The Storm <3) he comes up with some amazing set story ideas and has the talent of choosing the perfect songs to tell them.

And I believe Los Al and Wheaton pre-plan their sets to share the basic themes though they give them their own unique twists.

I believe that Onalaska 2004 has been dethroned. From now on we can talk about Fame Nationals 2013. If I were a judge:

1. Ankeny, Best Choreo
2. Los Alamitos
3. John Burroughs, Best Vocals
4. Fairfield
5T. Center Grove & Bemidji
7. Mt. Zion

For those of you not watching: they are a BIT behind. Los Alamitos is setting up currently while we listen to some guy sing some random lovey song. After Los Al is awards so we're getting there!

EDIT: At 11:46 Central Time, Los Al started their show!
