Wow. Such amazing performances tonight. A few brief thoughts:
Wheaton North--your show is so beautifully put together. Truly a work of art.
Twinsburg--your choreography was as sharp as ever. Perfect spins, perfect spins.
Waubonsie Valley--such a stunning opener and breathtaking ballad.
I'm sure all of the scores will be quite close again!!!

From the beautiful costumes, to the song choices that fit seamlessly with the theme, to the impeccable choreo, truly one of Twinsburg's best. I'm beyond bummed I was in warmups for their performance at Daniel Hand

YES SOLON. Great job in finals. I just want to point out how impressive and refreshing it is for Solon to do a revolutionary war show and not unnecessarily throw Hamilton in there. I don't mean that as shade to Carmel who just performed a Hamilton song, I really just mean it'd be easy to default to Hamilton since literally *revolutionary war*. The song selections to me are really well done. They aren't your standard or maybe expected revolutionary songs, but they fit the theme and intro that Solon has with their show so well. That ballad especially is such a powerful transition piece from war to healing. So glad to see y'all in finals here.

What kind of penalty did Twinsburg have? Is it something they can fix for the Finals round?
My guess would be time? They started a good 10-15 min late due to them setting up...

I'm so happy both Twinsburg and Solon are in finals! Cleveland Rocks. Such a great showing from Ohio. As I shared a couple pages back, I also really enjoyed Mitchell and Lincoln SW. No shame in missing finals at a contest like this.

I would've had those two in Finals. Today was an embarrassment of riches though. So amazing to be there.
