GC-Clinton (Sweep)
1RU- Auburn
2RU- Jackson Prep
3RU- Albertville
4RU- Oak Mountain
I could honestly see Auburn and Clinton switching spots or Auburn and Jackson Prep switching. All of the groups attending are all very good. Some of these may not be in finals and others may. Albertville and Oak Mountain could also get up there. I could honestly also see Brandon Brio making an appearance in finals. Good luck to all competing!

Will be interesting to see how 2nd RU and below turn out. Clinton is in a league of their own, and Auburn is barely trailing behind them in my opinion this year.

I can see Prep and Auburn switching since both groups have AMAZING shows this year. I could also see Brandon Brio sneaking into finals as well. Good luck to all groups competing!
What Auburn is doing this year is very good. .....Very...good. After watching them in Montgomery last week, and watching their show again on Youtube, my first thought was they were unreal. I am by no means saying they are "unbeatable" cause every group can be beat whether you want to believe that or not. I haven't seen Jackson Prep and a few other groups, but I haven't seen Oak Mountain, Albertville, and Auburn, and after this weekend Opelika.
I don't and won't make predictions because it usually ends up getting someones feelings hurt, and I truly believe that groups improve each week. I'll say this though, I am personally not playing that weekend and I am going to make a trip down to Homewood to watch Clinton and I am personally curious as to how Auburn does. It's the best group they have had since I first saw them a few years back in my own opinion. Someone mentioned earlier that they don't have a 'dark/rich' sound to them, and while I agree, the sound they do have is very nice. Another thing (unless I've missed it) is that this is the first competition that Clinton will have been too for the year, and I believe this will be Auburns 4th, so that could make for some interesting changes especially if this competition houses judges that they have seen earlier in the year. This comp has by history shown us that Clinton comes in and sweeps. I am anxious to see if that happens again this year.
Of course, without a doubt Mr. Fehr will have Clinton firing on all cylinders I am sure. Auburn, Albertville, Prep, etc etc, will have several weeks of competitions under their belts and as I said earlier, groups usually improve week in and week out. This will probably be the one of the biggest lineups of the year for a southern competition, following the week of Opelika which is pretty loaded as well.
Good luck to those competing this weekend. Looking forward to seeing the madness.
It's not the West Coast groups. Los Al will have a couple of Midwest groups there this year.
I accidentally thumbs "downed" you instead of "thumbs up" haha my bad, jd.
This will be an excellent competition.... as usual!!!
Its been a while since a west coast choir has beaten attache, so i doubt the chances are any better this year. And dont count auburn out until you've seen them, they separated themselves from the rest of the south (except for Clinton) this past weekend.

Ha ha ha. Not even close. Maybe Los Alamitos Xtravaganza this year. But Auburn vs Clinton? No contest (in my opinion).
Clinton sweeps. No doubt about it.
