McKayla Marso began choreographing with the Pomona Choir Department in the 2017-2018 school year. She is an active theatre professional/choreographer in the Denver metro area. When she's not choreographing at various studios or schools, you can find her on the local stages of the Arvada Center, Aurora Fox and BDT Stage. She recently returned from Seattle, WA where she frequently performs at The 5th Avenue Theatre. McKayla received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theatre from the Univ. of Northern Colorado in 2008. Since then she's performed in two Broadway national tours, two cruise ships and multiple regional theatres across the country. Her teaching career started 10 years ago at various studios in Colorado including The Dance Factory and Cherry Creek Dance. She finds that sharing her passion with the next generation of artists is the most fulfilling part of her work.
