Thai Sribanditmongkol ("Mr. S") is proud to serve as the first director of vocal music at Berlin High School since arriving at Olentangy Local Schools in 2015. A graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School, he attended Otterbein University in Westerville, OH, where he received a Bachelor of Music Education degree. He completed his work at The Ohio State University for his master's degree in educational administration in the spring of 2016.
Thai served for six years as the vocal music director 6-12 at Heath City Schools, one year as vocal music director 6-8 at New Albany Middle School, and three years as the vocal music director 6-8 at Orange Middle School. Thai is an accomplished vocalist, instrumentalist and stage performer and has served as Music Ministry Leader at Unity of Columbus, performed with various community theater organizations and has worked on the team of directors of the Columbus Children's Choir. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife Mallory, daughter Nora, and dog Lucy.
