Mrs. Burwinkel is very excited to be joining the McNeil Mavericks. She is joining us from Cedar Valley MS, where she has been the choir director for 6 years, the Director of the Round Rock Community Youth Choir for the last two years and previously at Burnet MS in Austin ISD. Mrs. Burwinkel received her Bachelors of Music from The University Of Texas - Austin in 2007 and prior to that spent several years working with the students at Widefield High School and Sproul Jr. High in Colorado Springs, CO. She is a wife and mother of two children, is a first degree black belt in Taekwondo, enjoys reading, Starbucks, hiking, and taking her family on mystery adventures.
