Jon Edgeton is assistant director of choirs at Urbandale High School. He is a graduate of Drake University, and received his Masters in Music Education from Morningside College. Mr. Edgeton has taught vocal music around the Greater Des Moines Area spanning kindergarten through high school. He currently directs Urbandale’s 7th and 8th grade show choir, Pizzazz, and previously was assistant director of the Johnston High School varsity show choir, Innovation.
Mr. Edgeton has served as clinician for various curricular, extra-curricular, and community choirs around the state. He is also a common adjudicator for solo and ensemble contests, show choir competitions, and the Iowa All-State Jazz Choir competition.
