Brett is an accomplished music director, vocal coach, and composer in New York City. A graduate of The Boston Conservatory, Brett’s conducting credits include Hairspray (National Tour), 42nd Street (National Tour), Chuggington! (Disney Channel), Les Miserables, Cats, Urban Cowboy, A Chorus Line, and Miss Saigon. He also served as Music Director for Broadway In South Africa, Broadway Under The Stars in Sonoma, and Scooby-Doo Live!, produced by Warner Bros/Life Like Touring.
As one of New York’s “most talented contemporary writers,” three of Brett’s original musicals are currently licensed and performed around the country: Take Two! The Online Dating Musical!, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, and Time Between Us. Brett is on musical theatre faculty at Marymount Manhattan College, spends a great deal of time behind “the casting table,” and continues to vocal coach some of Broadway’s most gifted stars.
