Patrick is a 2014 graduate of Luther College in Decorah, IA, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education. While at Luther, he was heavily involved in the music department, singing in several different ensembles and operatic productions, and working as both a personal assistant in the department and as a teacher’s assistant in the conducting program. His principal mentors include Dr. Allen Hightower and Dr. Andrew Last (conducting), and Dr. Edwin Andereck and Dr. Jessica Paul (voice). He has sung in choirs under the direction of Dr. Andrew Last, Dr. Timothy Peter, Dr. Sandra Peter, and Dr. Allen Hightower.
Patrick has an extensive background in show choir – as a singer/dancer and in a creative capacity. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the Iowa Choral Directors Association, and the International Thespian Society.
