Rett is a Beavercreek-based assistant director and choreographer of the Beavercreek Middle School Show Choir, "Entourage" and all 6th grade Show Choir, “New Horizons”. In 2018, he also founded and currently directs the Show Choir at Wright State University, “Surround Sound”
Rett is a 2016 graduate of Beavercreek High School. Growing up in a military family, he has lived in CA, OH, VA, and Boston, MA where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and helped direct and choreograph the middle school musicals before moving back to OH to finish his junior and senior years of high school. He enjoyed being a member of the award-winning group, “Friends” Show Choir at BHS.
Rett currently attends Wright State University and is majoring in Communications with a minor in Music. He enjoys playing the guitar and the piano, watching Sunday football, and continues to make music a part of his life by participating in the Wright State University Chorale and Men’s A Cappella groups.
In 2018, he finally decided to jump in the deep end and attempt to create his own Show Choir at Wright State University. As part of the first generation of collegiate Show Choirs, Rett strives to bring the popular high school extra circular activity to the collegiate level. Above all, he wants to offer the same experiences for others in the Show Choir community that were presented to him during his time being apart of “Friends”. With the creation of “Surround Sound”, Rett would like to thank everyone who has supported him during the process and assure you that he wouldn't be where he is today without you all!
