I plan on attending finals for this competiton, so i am very excited to see 3 of the groups that I saw at Linn Mar and see how much they all improve and also get to see Ovation for the first time this season!

My predictions are as follows with some bias for my own choir and also some for choirs I have yet to see.
Grand Champion- Johnston
1st runner up- Xavier
2nd runner up- wsd/ovation
3rd runner up- wsd/ovation (just because it was so clse at Benton and you never know who's gunna have the better day)
4th runner up- Waterloo West
5th runner up- Seward
Once again some bias has effeted my order plus I've never seen seward's show, and I don't meen the wsd and ovation situation to be put down I'm just saying being within six points is very close and can be made up some hard work, and ovation has an awsome band unfortunately Benton didn't weigh that score as high as some other compitions. Although I did hear that jeff was missing some people due to state swimming and other things.
We were missing quite alot of people in both groups!!! I am in Ovation as a singer and in WSD for band and its getting pretty heated but thanks for the awesome support you guys ROCK! I see Xavier as GC or WSD but thats just me!

Our older kids are so excited to travel with the younger ones. It's been a long time since we've been able to make that happen. It should be a fun day.

Middle School competition in the morning, with the awards ceremony for that at 11:20. Followed by the high school competition (with one middle school thrown in there):
12:15: Waterloo Columbus "Sound Connection"
12:40: Johnston MS "Sound Advice"
Sound Advice is actually a 9th grade group competing in the prep division.

Ahh yes, I remember hearing about your situation. I remember there were a couple groups that were definite shockers (some getting into finals that I didn't think would, others, like LSW, not making finals after I thought they would).
