Westside should take this one. i haven't seen papio south or muscatine but after seeing what they did at heelan and at kennedy, i believe they will take 1RU-2RU, both millard schools have had great years and could flip, and i believe that papio will bring it enough to make finals and compete with these great show choirs.
These are my own, probably VERY wrong predictions:
GC: Omaha Westside
1RU: Muscatine
2RU: Papillion South
3RU: Millard North
4RU: Bishop Heelan
5RU: Millard West
I think Westside will easily win this one. 1RU-2RU could be switched, I put Muscatine on top because they're on a HUGE upswing this season, though after seeing Papio last night at Heelan's competition, they could give Muscatine a run for their money. I think Millard North's placement is pretty set although I could definitely see 3RU-5RU switching any way. I haven't seen Millard North or West but Heelan is doing particularly well this year. This will be exciting to see how it turns out. Good luck to ALL of the groups competing!

I think there is a lot of room for change in finals, and I'm really excited to see a lot of new schools that I have never seen before in my three years of show choir, most especially the ones from Iowa.
I'm very excited for this competition. Mostly because we will be competing with ATSC! I had the amazing opportunity to student teach with the incredible Doran Johnson and I'm excited for my kids to see his groups perform!
Im a little confused as to why Millard West is going after Millard North during prelims. I thought that they usually go off of the previous years placements here. Hence, ATSC last, Papio South before them. Im confused. This seems different than usual here.....can anyone from Millard North or Millard West tell me why?
I honestly don't really know to tell you the truth. I do know that Millard West beat Millard North in prelims last year then Millard North jumped them in finals.
