Will the prelims be archived on the live stream site? I'd like to see Mitchell's show.

Same here. I'd like to see Prospect as well.

I'm sure the competition sells DVDs of the event.

Oh, wait! I think it is! http://www.ihigh.com/wwshs/broadcast_288574.html?silverlight=1

Now comes the fun part of shifting through ten hours of footage. Woot!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe a choir has beat Clinton Attaché since the Los Alamitos "Xtravaganza" competition in 2009. And I believe John Burroughs Powerhouse was the choir that beat them.

Congratulations Waubonsie Valley and to all the choirs that competed today!! This competition is definitely one to go in the record books.

And in only 2 weeks, Wheaton-Warrenville will go up against John Burroughs Powerhouse and Burbank In Sync in California at the Los Alamitos competition.

Correct. It is pretty unbelievable that it is so easy to remember the only people to beat Clinton since who-knows-when.

2009 @ Los Alamitos: 1) John Burroughs, 2) Clinton, 3) Burbank
2008 @ FAME Chicago: 1) John Burroughs, 2) Clinton, 3) Waubonsie Valley
2008 @ Sullivan: 1) Hart (?), 2) Clinton, 3) Mt. Zion

Before that, I'm not sure.

Wasn't it at WW that Hart beat Clinton in 2008?

From all the responses I'm going to say it was at Sullivan, because it definitely wasn't at WW. Marysville won Wheaton back in 2008.

I just noticed that 175 SCC members were online after the Wheaton competition results were posted. Only 50 more and we officially beat our record of 215 online at the the same time!!

We said that in 2009. Then they reeled off 3 years in a row. They will be back.

I don't know if you took it wrong, but my post was in no way saying that Clinton was "gone". It just was stating that their 3+ year streak of winning GC is now, in fact, over.

Just wanted to clarify.

And the streak is over.

The streak ends at 12 consecutive Grand Championships from 2010-2013. I believe the new longest current winning streak is none other than the host choir Wheaton Warrenville South "The Classics" at 11 consecutive Grand Championships dating back to 2011 after they received 1RU to Clinton "Attache" to now. Although Wheaton's streak will be in jeopardy in a few weeks when they compete at Los Al! Great day of competition at WWS, every choir should be proud!

HOLY OH MY GOD.

Attache is rarely beaten. Congratulations to Waubonsie Valley! You deserved it. All the groups were wonderful and should be proud. Truly a tough competition with many amazing groups - exactly how it should be. Well done to all.

Well that was fun.

Congrats Waubonsie! What an amazing show you have! No words to describe it.

Time to start a new Clinton streak, I guess. So weird to see them lose!

Congrats to all choirs, that was so much fun to watch!!
