I think that Open Class 4th Place was probably South Sioux City Sound Sensations

And I think you we're right. Haha I was typing it out in a Hurry before they said the next one on my iPod while clapping a bit too haha so I was a bit frazzled.
The program has Hinton as 1A and South Sioux city as 4A so it makes sense. So feel free to change it when/if you can Häakon!

Awesome job everyone! Truly some good competition. almost all the groups were great and I just KNOW that it had to be close.
I do believe for sure 1RU and 2RU were like 2 our three points away from each other if I heard correctly. And I'm sure the other groups were pretty close behind.

I already posted a lot haha so I'll just post a little bit more and go to sleep haha

LeMars: loved the first song a lot. You guys had some very clean moments and the ballad sounded great. Westside did it last year, and while it would have been hard to be compared to that, you guys sang it beautifully still. It really is one of my favorite show choir ballads, so I loved listening to it haha

Westwood: i loved the opener costumes a lot! Memories sounded great! The ballad was quite pretty (soloist was awesome). I feel better/let's go was really good too. As long as you clean a bit more and make sure that you don't let it show thy you're tired towards the end you should be pretty good and get better and better!

Lewis central: like I said, a lot of progress was made since westside. Vocals were better and it just felt more cohesive. I still love all the songs you guys did and sing along to almost all of them haha oh and I like the opener costumes a lot too.

Ralston: I always tell you guys everything anyway. But like always incredibly entertaining and hilarious. Hahaha

Gretna: Wow guys. Seriously, it was like night and day from your competition to now. There was energy, amazing dancing/performing, and you all sounded so gooood. I loved your how so much. I LOVE Oo's and Ah's. that doing was stuck in my head all day...still is. Damn haha. And the soloist, WOW, boy, you have some pipes, and the roughness in your voice was perfect. And the ballad soloist girl. Well deserved praise. You have an amazing voice too. Get Back in the USSR was pretty good! Lots of butt shaking from the boys. That's always nice x3 hahahaha one of my favorite shows I've seen this year for sure.

Papio south: amazing sound and so so clean! What I liked about you guys was the absolute intensity and drive that you guys had through out the whole thing! It's what set ya apart. The choreography was great and excecuted so well. Luck Be a Lady was a great cute song. Loved the lift at te end of te opener. And there was a girl with red hair that was toward the front mostly who was my favorite performer. Best classic show choir face the whole time. Congrats of the well deserved GC

Bishop Heelan: thank you to all of you for a great competition. Lol also loved the skirts in the second number and the number itself. Haha oh and when you did Living Louder by The Cab (my favorite band) I almost died. I loved it and you guys bc of it! And the closer was intense too. Very good choreography.

Thanks to all who attended and performed. Great competition. =]

Yeah, no worries. I already shuffled some stuff around, but that open division is pretty different than what was originally announced so I need to rework it.

Thanks for the detailed results, Carlos. Your awards have a handful of differences from the schedule that was posted, but I assume yours is correct and they just made changes?

I was typing them out as they said them so I would hope they are correct! x3 if I did mess up anything I apologize in advance!
Also, I know the schedule in general was a bit different before the last 5ish groups.
But yeah, I'll post the results ASAP haha exhibition about to start!
Everyone is BRINGING it big time. Won't be surprised if its all really close haha

Lewis central gave great performance. A lot of improvement from when I saw Them at gretna.

Papio south was amazing! So much intensity and drive! The choreography was sharp and clean. And your vocals. Just wow.
There is a red headed girl in the front who was seriously amazing!

And Ralston definitely brought it too. A lot of energy and looked like you we're enjoying it so much. And you guy sounded really great too!

Excited for finals. Should mostly be pretty dang close.

First of all. The competition is run great so far!
Also, big big props to the girl from Hinton who had the wardrobe malfunction in the closer and STILL finished the song like a CHAMP. (That amazing standing obvation and all the woo-ing and cheering was for YOU! :D

Really liked spirit lake. The sparkly lipgloss. The reach soloist has some powerful voice! And amazing high notes/vibrato from the ballad soloist! And the novelty guys song soloist was great! My and my friends for sure whistles along to it (always look on the bright side of life). Oh and the closer dresses were cool!

And holy cow Gretna! That was amazing! Your show was like night and day from when I saw you at your own competition back at the beginning of January. You had me engaged from beginning to end and the energy was so high. All your soloist were amazing. So many great performers and facials. For sure a top 3 spot performance IMO. So bravo!

My predictions!!

GC: Papio South
1RU: Ralston
2RU: Lewis Central
3RU-5RU: Westwood, Le Mars, Gretna

I have a feeling that the top three are pretty set. The bottom three could go anyway though. Gretna has already performed twice this year and they placed got into finals both times so they'll be in finals here too. It's just that Le Mars and Westwood haven't performed competitively this year, although both groups earned straight division 1 ratings at the Iowa State Show Choir festival. We'll see how these three groups do when facing each other!

I'm pretty sure I'll make it for this competition. I'm excited!!!!

I agree with this, in the exact same order that you have them listed.
