I am not referring to the critique judge. One of the regular judges choreographs one of the choirs.

Critiquing is acceptable, but would be great for his choirs to hear another perspective.

I know what you are concerned about but this is something that is not going to be an issue at the competition. This is an outstanding competition and I know they wouldn't let something like this happen. Critiquing is allowed im sure, even if the choreographer has groups at the event.

He's not. He's just critiquing.

(sigh) That should never ever be allowed to happen.

I'll offer you a prediction Brockamp

GC: Faifield
1RU: MTZ Swings
2RU: Danville Delegation
3RU: Sully
4RU: Pekin

I'd say Sully, Pekin & Manteno are all going to be very close to those last two spots in finals so in reality I'll say anyones game for 3RU and 4RU.

Also a certain adjudicator's professionalism and equality will factor into the placement of a few groups. Not expecting much of either from this person.

Out on another limb.

GC:Fairfield "Choraliers"
1RU:Mt. Zion "Swingsations"
2RU:Manteno "Magic"
3RU:Danville "Delegation"
4RU:Sullivan "Singers"

I wouldn't swear to this to happen.

Michael Talamonti and John Burlace are the critique judges. Just thought I would throw that in there.

Alright - here's my thoughts on this. No bias intended, just some of my comments.

I can't exactly pin down an exact match, but I have heard/seen some of what these groups are bring this year. I'd have to say that I would put the GC between Fairfield and Danville, with Mt. Zion nipping at the heels. But, Pekin, Sullivan, and Manteno are all in the hunt as well. I'd even say some groups could surprise everyone and shake up this competition. I've been pretty excited to see what would happen with this one, and needless to say anyone attending will be glad they went, especially with the fantastic job Crete-Monee does with their competition.

Danville is a good choir, but I doubt that they have beaten Mt. Zion even once in the last 10 years. Fairfield or Mt. Zion will win.

I know exactly what he was talking about now with the biased opinions
But I assure all of you there won't be any of that.
