I didn't look to see if someone already asked, but will there be a live feed at all? And is there anyone who will be at the comp, if a live feed isn't happening, who would want to text me updates/mini messages about some of the choirs. I can PM my number to somebody who would be willing! It would totally make my day tomorrow.

Just to clarify, Hastings Upstage Revolution will NOT be attending FAME Branson... Not sure why it is on their website. Hastings Riverside Company will be there, of course, though Very excited!

It looks like all the daytime performances have shifted down 30 minutes and that Hasting's prep group will not be there (and never were planning on it). Looking forward to this competition. Should be a lot of fun!

Is there a concert choir competition? I personally think its odd that Ona's concert choir is performing, maybe for an exhibition performance? Who knows.

yes, just onalaska's concert choir will be singing

I'm going to go out a limb here and predict what will probably be wrong
GC:Wheaton....BC and BB
1RU:Hastings.....BV
2RU: Onalaska/Papio South

I think that Wheaton has the greatest chance to get BC. BV however could be interesting because Hastings sings EXTREMELY well this year in my opinion. I think that this will be a lot closer than everyone thinks.

Lets throw in a disclaimer for the sake of it....this post only represents my own opinions and no that of my school.

And so could Papillion La Vista H.S. "Free Spirit"

I definitely believe they have a chance, and I did actually have them in my original post, but I thought about it and with the quality of the other groups I felt like they were the one with the least chance so I took them out. But they definitely do have a shot!

Predictions:

GC. Wheaton (BV, BC)
1RU. Hastings

The last three spots will be crazy close with quite a few groups that have the potential to make it. But I will predict (and be wrong
2RU. Papillion La Vista South
3RU. Onalaska
4RU. Norris

The last couple spots could go to completely different groups too. Jenks, West Des Moines Valley, Sullivan, and Pekin could all make a good case for finals.

Wheaton
Hastings
Onalaska
PLV South
Pekin/Sully

I've only seen Wheaton, Hastings and Onalaska this year, and honestly I have no clue about what the others can bring. But the top two will be Wheaton and Hastings in my opinion with a battle for the rest of the spots.

I'm really excited to see how this turns out between Hastings and Wheaton
