So... I saw Nitros show a few weeks back... and I along with the majority of the audience, was wondering... is there a pregnant girl in your show choir? " border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

I am not even going to dignify that question with an answer.

Now I kinda wish Morgantown was going to Poca this year haha.

Me personally, I'd like to see Garfield Heights win at Poca, because they really do kill it every year (not that other schools don't, because so many groups that go are siiick). It seems like even if Hurricane is topped by another group in the first round, they always step it up in finals to win it. Nitro just seems to keep getting better, but it's always like there's another group that steps up even more and tops them.

It's crazy.

But good luck to everyone!

Well thank you w00t.gif

And that 6 hour bus trip dosnt seem so bad when we have full access to the MALL! SWEETNESS!!!

My statement had nothing to do with shaming any group or horrific travel experiences, I simply prefer one group to another and would love to see Piqua add another win to their season.

I would like to say Nitro has nothing to be ashamed of this past weekend. After a 5 hour bus ride, that actually took over 12 hours to make, and sitting in a cold bus for hours waiting on a new bus to pick them up AND not getting to the hotel until after 3am, I think they did well. While granted it was not a "great" show, it was a good show. We went into this competition with our eyes wide open knowing we would be going up against some of the best groups around. I am still proud of our kids and can only say we will go to Music Fest and do the best we can. Whatever happens--happens. Good luck to all the groups that will be attending next weekend.

I agree showmom....I thought your vocals were very strong. This one could have gone so many ways, as they all can. Congrats to you and all the groups there. Good luck to all at Poca. It's one of my favorites....

After seeing Nitro yesterday and Piqua during the previous weekend, I'll only say that Piqua absolutely deserves to run away with this competition.

Cosby could also be in the running to make finals. When they competed against St. Albans last year at the Central Va. Show Choir Invitational they placed higher than them, so keep an eye out for them! Cosby has only been open for three years now, so a lot of people don't know about their choirs, but they have an amazing choral department!

I'm a proud alum of the Spotlight and will hopefully make it out to see them perform at the Civic Center!

Good luck to all the groups

Yea, the only VA choir any of them have really seen is Manchester. Hanover is no longer going so best of luck Cosby, yall will definitley be in FInals.
