I was just wondering if anyone had any comments on Cosby's Mixed Show Choir "Spotlight". I'm an alum of the group, so maybe I'm a little biased, but I was really surprised when they weren't called for finals.
This is the first competition I have attended in quite some time that I wasn't either performing myself or directing my group and it was great. Congratulations to all participating groups!! And an even bigger congrats to Poca for a well-run, organized competition and fantastic exhibition performance!

I think that the bottom 4 are all up in the air, anyone could place from 3rd to 6th.. And I think Piqua, and Garfield will slug it out!!! Piqua is very solid, but Garfield has kicked it up a notch with a stellar performance at Findlay, almost beating Marysville... Both groups can sing and dance, but I think this one will come down to who has the cleanest show in both areas.. I am thinking that Garfield wins best choreography just because they are ridicously clean... I'm not saying I like the choreo better, but they are really really clean!!!

I predict Cosby not only makes finals but places GC or 1st Runner Up.
Followed by Piqua, Nitro,Garfield Heights, Capital, and St. Albans in that order.
Very good vocals, choreograhy was a bit much last year but VERY solid band, vocals and choreo overall. Look for them to take a few captions as well.

Well those of you going tomorrow, I heard that there is good, cheaper food in the beni kedem temple across the way from the civic center... So don't buy the food in the civic center, go support the Poca choir and buy their food.
