Jordan, since you started to post the information, could you post it all, so that at least some of us have it? It's been a long time since Saturday night.

I have not seen the final results, and will not before they are emailed to directors. All I know is what I posted.

I know that Jim Kimmel had it exactly how it turned out. Matt Huth and Theeres Hibbard had East in first. The final rankings have not been sent to the schools yet.

This comp was awesome. As for sioux city east- I wasn't sold on the concept of the show during the day, but at night things really clicked. I can't wait to see it again at Sing all about it! 14 Karat Gold is awesome this year- Lincoln SW could be very interesting.

Here's some of my thoughts (I haven't slept any more but I'll give it a shot).
First off, I watched every single performance of the day so I saw this thing fold out completely.

As an MC, I just want to say that the crowd was great! Everyone was very supportive of all the groups.

Going into finals I would have had it just about the same way the judges had it. I thought maybe Gretna could have jumped into finals.

In finals, I really felt like no group got to the level that was set during prelims. I kinda wanted to give out two 1st runner-up trophies and keep the grand championship trophy for myself

But with that said, here's how I would have put it:
GC- GINW
1RU- Totino
2RU- SC East
3RU- Mitchell
4RU- Papio
5RU- Millard West

Choreo-Totino
Vocals- GINW
Band- GINW

GINW: You guys are the best I've ever seen you. The finals performance was not as good as daytime but you guys had the closest performance to a championship performance.

Totino: You're guys show is great. Like a lot of people have already said, you are a great fit for April. Every group that I have seen in their first year with April was not nearly as comfortable with her choreography as you are. You guys definitely have the potential to keep climbing. I felt like the vocals were lacking at night and that kept me from putting you guys first, even though I definitely wanted to

SC East: I'm not a big fan of the monster theme, especially in the daytime performance. But at night you guys definitely performed it really well (as was obvious by Mr. Weber's happy dance and screaming during the show).

Mitchell: Another great show done by Stephen. He always gives you guys great stuff, and it looks good on you. Stephen told me how young you guys are this year and it really didn't show through as I thought it would. At points the energy seemed a little low but I think it was because the vocals were kind of soft. I thought your tone and tuning was very good. You guys definitely have potential.

Papio: I've seen you guys all 5 times you've performed in the past 3 week, and your performances on Saturday were the two best. All the changes you've made since Johnston have worked great and I really liked all of them. I especially liked skipping straight to "Detroit Rock City" in the closer. I think it adds great energy to the closer. The Vegas signs add a lot to the closer as well, no matter if the scrim falls on it or not. Congrats on Best male solo, it sounded great both performances.

Millard West: I liked the changes you made to the order. It made it flow better. The squirrel song lacked energy at night. You guys sang well, it just seemed that a lot of the choreography wasn't locking in.

Hope to see you all at the tenth annual COE next year.

Congrats to everyone, and a personal congrats to Mitchell! I was smiling throughout your guys' show-- you're doing a terrific job, and I absolutely LOVE your ballad. Beautiful.

Totino--- you were my fave! What a great package of a show. I especially love that Break My Stride song-- totally been stuck in my head. Great job to the soloist as well.

PS The bathroom door in our hotel room caught on fire! Yay for funny hotel stories...

All those groups have so much room to make up then if its that far.
Is their a rouge judge score that has something to do with Grand Island? " border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

A rouge judge? Is that the one that grades whether or not the boys have enough blush on?

that is exactly what i had to

I feel like Totino's closer didn't quite get finished during finals, however I could easily still have seen them getting 2nd. They are adapting very well to becoming an April group, and they have done progressively better at each competition they have gone to this year, so hopefully that streak can continue.

That seems odd. Did something happen, or is that the way it's always been done at this competition? I'd go crazy if I had to wait for the final rankings after a competition!

Yes it has. It's because we like to just get the results and then announce. Then on Monday we send out the results and an explanation of the system.

Hey Jeff, random side note, but did you know we are friends on Facebook? Lol I must've added you last year after I met you at Omaha Westside's comp. I just know that stuff pops up about you on my Newsfeed, and that you and Emily and some other people are friends.

Haha, yes I do know. Your videos come up on my news feed quite often.

I am not positive really, other than I know that the opener and closer were flipped from their performance at Gretna.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the change was once upon a time then officer krupke then momma who bore me? And by the way our room was right next to their's and I have to say they are some amazingly nice people. High fives and all.

Can anyone else who was there provide some commentary on how the groups did? I wish I could've been there...but like I said, Nebraska is too far away
