Predictions:

GC. Waubonsie Valley
1RU. Cedar Rapids Jefferson
2RU. Buffalo Grove
3RU. Twinsburg
4RU. Crete
5RU. Danville

The last finals spot is going to be a very fun battle to watch. Danville already has won a GC over EEE, Pekin, and Manteno this year, so expect those three groups to fight hard. Glenwood came out of no where last year and made some noise so don't count them out. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Sullivan jump into the last finals spot either.

I expect the top three/four battle to be very interesting also. It is the first competition of the season for Waubonsie Valley and Buffalo Grove who both had amazing seasons last year. Cedar Rapids Jefferson is coming off a grand championship.

I'm not really sure what to expect out of Twinsburg or Crete, but I could see either of them moving up or down.

This competition is going to be great! Honestly every single group in the Tier 1 class has a chance to make finals. You can't ask for a better competition than that.

Good luck to everyone!

Really looking forward to what Iowa & Ohio bring to this year's competition!!! Real glad Twinsburg is coming back and very happy to see Westside consider Mt Zion this year!! So far: green grass and cloudy skies, so hopefully the snow stays away, although some of you all may have to dig out in order to start your trek to Mt Zion!!! Mid 30's & partly cloudy down here for Saturday!! Travel Safe!!

Thanks for the update MTZ Dad

Two dog race for top two spots. Prediction: WV sweep. The rest is a battle for third. I hope I'm proven wrong that's just always been the trend with the WV/BG battles.

On a lighter note CAN'T WAIT TO GO!

With what I saw this weekend at Crete (with us, EEE, Danville, and Manteno), those finals spots are really gonna be hard to get. I know looking at all of the groups there is no way I could pick a finals list AND where they would place. Really looking forward to this one, it really is going to be great!

This Saturday is shaping up to be a real battle!!! Danville & Westside already won this past weekend, and you know WV, BG & Twinsburg are gonna be very competitive. Plus, you can never rule out Gemar's Titan Fever!!! Should be a fun one!! Just glad MTZ won't be timed at their own comp......what? too soon??

Question: Is Mt Zion's opener, "Catalyst", the Linkin Park version?? And also, is "Could You Believe" from ATB?? I would assume "Going on the other side" is not the Kat Klix version..............LOL What about the closer "Glory"....do they go on the edge by Gaga?? Just like to know their music each year!!!

Is there a judges break in between Twinsburg and Eisenhower? It just seems like a large time gap.

I believe so. They normally have a break.
