Bishop Heelan is in Sioux City, Iowa
I believe it's a little less than a 2 hour drive from Ralston.

Papio Free Spirit: You guys are seriously getting better and better every time i see you. Your vocals were strong, and there were so choreo was pretty clean, and i saw a lot of great performers. excited to see you guys again at Bishop Heelan!

These are my opinions and only reflect my thoughts....

ATSC: I loved your sound. The vowel shapes were good during prelims but great during finals. Your diction was great during finals. I had some issues understanding a couple words in The Mad Hatter during prelims but I got every single word during finals. The only critique I had during finals was to make sure that your moves popped and were all at the same angles i.e. the chorus in the mad hatter. This could be fixed by just fully extending all of your moves. I had you guys in first after both prelims and finals but I guess being down by what was rumored to only be one point is pretty close. I agree with carlos. You guys really really WANTED it and that is always fun to watch from an audiences perspective.

Friend de Coup: It was a fun show but I was very confused with how it flowed on stage. I understood the theme but I just didnt exactly know where to look. I really did like the extra height that the swingset brought to the show. The choreography was extremely clean and was definatly deserving of best choreography. Vocally...I had issues hearing some of your phrases. It was still a great sound just not always consistent. Overall a great show and one lat note....I loved the guy's number...You all should be an extremely proud of where you placed.

Free Spirit: Definatly the best you have been in a couple years. Your vocals were very strong and I had you very close to Mitchell vocally. However they were not always the most consistent. Your choreo was very clean and was extremely fun to watch. Great job to today and I hope to see you all in the future.

Simply Irresistible: I also loved your sound. I usually am not a fan of womens groups but I loved your show. It was fun and the ballad was gorgeous. Way to go ladies.

Warrior Express: Great job on being the only prep group to make finals. I loved your show especially the first two songs. I love Fly Like an Eagle. It was a very well choreographed show and was sung extremely well. Great job ya'll should be extremely proud of what you did.

Bellevue West: I also loved seeing you guys make finals. You guys seemed really nice. You all danced well and sang well for the amount of people in the group.

Everyone should be extremely proud how you placed today. One last shout out to ATSC and Mitchell's bands. They were both great. I hope to see you all later in the year.

Love,
Jamison Corca

Okay, I managed to get away from coordinating volunteers every now and then and see a couple of groups through out the day.

Bellevue West: I was really excited to see you guys make finals! My brother was your host, and raved about what cool nice kids you guys were! I also liked your show and thought you guys had a good sound. good job!

Simply Irresistible: I heard great strong sound from you guys, especially the sopranos! You guys had so much talent in your group too. ATSC is gonna gain a lot of great performers next year hopefully.

Papio Free Spirit: You guys are seriously getting better and better every time i see you. Your vocals were strong, and there were so choreo was pretty clean, and i saw a lot of great performers. excited to see you guys again at Bishop Heelan!

Friend de Coup: Your guy's show really is a SHOW haha. It's very entertaining for sure. The costumes were great, and i really loved the whole Candy mash up the most! There was a lot of cool things in the show that made it really entertaining. At times it almost borderlined too much, but still great. I heard of a really sweet moment you guys had after you loss one of your members :[ Really gave meaning to your name <3

ATSC: You guys really brought it at finals. The energy level from day time to finals was like night and day. You could could that you guys WANTED it. There wasn't one person that i saw who wasn't completely into the show. The ballad was beautiful, and i loved the change in the "power outage too." You guys put on a great solid show, even with one of your strong performers missing. Also a lot of nice and cool kids here! Congrats on CG!

ATSC - Your ballad gets better every single time I hear it. I can't wait to hear it again soon. The changes that Dwight made really help the show. You guys definitely deserved GC.

pft you're biased ;)

JUST KIDDING.

Congrats to ATSC and FDC two very good groups and can't wait to see both later in the season

Congrats to ATSC, SI, Warrior Express and Mitchell! I made it over for finals and saw everyone but Warrior Express.

FDC - I really enjoyed your show. The swing set contraption is insane and I couldn't help but stare and the people dance on the top of it. It'll be great to see the show after a few more weeks of practicing and tweaking!

And a special shout out to Ralston. At COE, the judges were raving about the guys sound in the guys number so I made sure to pay extra attention last night. They were totally right, the sound quality is amazing. Your whole group is a lot of fun to watch. Great job last night.

I just wanna thank Ralston for running an absolutely awesome competition. For it being you first year hosting a competition you did what many competitions can't....run on time. We were scheduled to go at 3:05 and we went exactly at 3:05. Again thank you all so much and hopefully we see each other down the road
