Last night at SoCal (major fun!!!) i think Burbank should have taken first because in my opinion they were more on and had the better show. Burroughs Powerhouse had a great show dont get me wrong, i just think Burbank had a better one.

(different topic)
Even if we (BV-MM) had done the most amazing show of all time last night we still wouldn't have gotten first because Mr. Bolles was a judge, which really sux but that's the way it goes. w/e. i still had major fun!!!!!

Congrats to every single group that was there @ SO-CAL!!! I absolutely love this competition, and love the intensity and passion that every choir puts into their set, because for most of us, it was the last competition of the season...and for my seniors it was the last competition ever... . I'm glad I still have 1 more year!!!

Anyway, GREAT JOB S.U. for placing 1st after being the 1st girls group to go on. I was really surprised, but you ovbiously did something right and made an impression on the judges. Congrats on such an incredible season!

Treble Cats had a good show...it reminded me of NYC SHOWSTOPPERS and watching Union HS perform...ah...memories. Anway, back to SO-CAL. It was a strong show, you all have great performance skills.

My SOUND SENSATIONS were amazing!!!! I know you have your third place streak, and I sooooo wanted you to place higher...but regardless, you ladies but on a fantastic show & had sooooooo much energy on stage. Laura Davy was having major choir sex w/me during "When You Come Back Down". All I can say is - watch out everyone!!! I love SOUND SENSATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, the mixed division was a tight competition, especially among the top ranking groups!!!!

I loved BV's show!!! Eric is an amazing soloist/dancer, and really shines on stage!! So does Richard!!! Love the smile! Congratulations on your 4th place win, I totally love your show!!!!!!!!!! "Facade" and "Zodiac Cadillac" are amazing!!!! And who doesn't love "You Can't Stop the Beat"? Fantastic job, it seemed like a lot came together in your show!!

Vista's show was amazing. The idea that you put on "mini musicals" is amazing. I wasn't too sure about the Russian theme, but you did a great job executing it! My favorite number was "Once Upon a December". I liked the costumes too! They were really unique, and once again, you have some amazing dancers/actors in your choir. Very impressive! Great job!!!

I was sad we were in the warm up room when In Sync was on stage. I knew it would be a tough competition going after our cross-town rivals, because your show has really come together in so many ways. You have had a pretty strong year, and I am proud of you for coming together & doing so well in Showstoppers too! Congratulations!!

POWERHOUSE!!! We did it!!! I'm so amazed & proud of every single one of you. We really came together. I felt an energy on stage (sometimes that resulted in us tripping & having costume problems) but despite everything, we overcame A LOT this weekend. I love you all & am so thankful to be part of a program where we have an incredible director and choreographer who care so much for us and want us to succeed in all we do. Thank you so much Mrs. Rago & Jen O. for ALL you do for us. We really never thank you enough!!! I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next year!!!

Also...I thought Rowland (Wild Boys!) & Ramona (YAY Tina & Heather & Luke who i met that day)!! Both choirs did a great job, and I wish you could have placed as well!!!

And I have to say...CHULA VISTA ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay Fidi, I finally got to put a name with a face & see you perform!! You did a great job on your solo, and I got to see the cool costume change!!!!!! Amazing performance also, DREAM GIRLS!!!!!!!!!! I loved "And So It Goes". OH! and "Soul Man"...wow...that was HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't get to see Burbank because Borroughs was in the warm-up room, but I really felt that Burroughs was on last night. I especially thought the acapella was amazing. Congarts Burroughs!

I think that it really doesn't matter about scores. Each judge this year has been
different and liked different things. As a Sound Sensation I love Powerhouse
and know they've worked really hard to do what they've done this year.
Chula was a great end to it for us! And Burbank-WOW! For not having
an auditorium and a new director (Who is fabulous!) You guys are
outstanding. I loved Impressions last night And I didn't think you girls
diserved fourth place! You sang and danced beautifully.
And also--I wish I could have been there on Friday to see Out Of The Blue!
HI DANNY. ehehehee. For Friday--Woo! Sound waves getting 2nd was so
perfect. You guys deserve it, and I hope that you all are feeling better.
Everyone is in my prayers. YEAH DECI's! 2nd too! You girls rock. (Because
of course girls choirs rock Yeah dawg.)

Woohoo, Sound got first place :-D

Good job Machine as well.

Burbank got jacked though.

For both divisions they did!!

Burbank had better sound last night! The golden hall does not have very good acoustics. True, burroughs did have better show, but the scoring went on 60 music/40 show!

Both SoCal nights were fun!! There were some placings I didn't quite agree on....but that's ok. Congrats to BURROUGHS for sweeping! They do deserve it and I'm so happy they got it! WEEEE

THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION:

But I thought that Burbank was better than Burroughs last night. It might have been because I was on the floor in front for burroughs. But congrats anyways to everyone!

Congrats to everyone!! It was so much fun getting to just sit back and relax and actually watch other choirs.... I'm so glad I'm not a senior right now because that was sooo much fun last night and I know next year will be just as great!

Oceanside- It was great being your host! You guys are awesome and your show is really fun! Those boys in your group are pretty funny too, they all really wanted a wristband, hahaha. Also thank you to your director for being so nice about everything!

It was great everyone, I hope you had fun!
