Some info about the competition..

All caption awards were given during daytime awards. 11 points separated Colerain and Beavercreek after the day round, and in finals they were 3/4 of a point apart.
Beavercreek won Judge's Choice for "Mars and Venus."

Thanks to Lebanon for holding such a wonderful competition!

This was Milton Union's best performance EVER. They ended in 7th overall, and only 3 points away from finals. They received second in their class. I would just like to say that as a senior, I have never been more proud to be in a choir like this.

I'm sorry but how do you tie a best costumes award? That just seems silly!

I only heard the prelim results: Beavercreek and Colerain were close with Colerain in the lead. Not sure about captions.

Good. It would have been interesting and probably a first that a group that originally went at 9:30 AM won GC at a competition (if they do win) haha.

actually, in 2006 beavercreek won the kettering fairmont invitational performing first in prelims, at 9AM, and last in finals, at 9PM, a full 12 hours apart.

just a fun fact

Does anyone fear that Beavercreek's early timeslot could hurt them any here?

QUOTE (Patrick Knoll @ Mar 03 2011, 11:10 PM) *

Also, Ada and Beavercreek have switched places. we are very thankful for this, seeing as though we have Districts the night before. Thanks Ada!!

It was updated the schedule for the event, but not on the topic. It's updated now.

I think this will be a tight one between Colerain and Beavercreek. Should be a good one. I think Edgewood and ETC will fight for that 2RU place. Good luck to all groups!
