Here is the breakdown on the finals at Fort Madison. The judges did not write their names on their sheets so I have no idea which are who but here are the breakdowns.

They used Olympic Scoring. 1st=21, 2nd=18, 3rd=15, 4th=12, 5th=9, 6th=6

Judge 1: Davenport North, Holy Trinity,

Judge 2: Holy Trinity, Davenport North,

Judge 3: Davenport North, Holy Trinity

Judge 4: Holy Trinity, Davenport North

Judge 5: Davenport North, Holy Trinity

The Final Point Spread:
Davenport North=99
Holy Trinity=96
Williamsburg=69
Mt. Pleasant=60
Hannibal=48
Ottumwa=33

An exact duplicate of last year... Just put "Muscatine" where "Holy Trinity" is.

Congrats North on your 4-peat

Congrats Ottumwa! I was very impressed when I critiqued your show this year at Indianola. Glad to see you made finals

North won best choreography and Holy Trinity won best vocals..

GC: Davenport North
1RU: Holy Trinity

can't remember the name of the rest of the schools... but it was a fun competition.
What a great job by Holy Trinity, they were 1st in daytime rounds ahead of us by a single point, that's how close this competition was.... they were outstanding and the vocals were really good!

All I know is...

Grand Champions: Davenport North
with Best Crew, Best Female Soloist, Best Male Soloist (awarded in prelims)

I'm not sure about the rest of the results or finals captions.

Understandable... but as were we equally upset at Ft. Madison last year. Its show choir... that's what happens when you take a show into the competition circuit. Feelings are bound to be hurt. What may be great one week, might not be so great the next. All groups experience this, trust me, I feel like we've written the book on it. But, just competing to beat groups defeats the entire purpose of why we do what we do. We competed only once against each other last year... once will do this year as well.

Yeah I see what ya mean there. That's one thing I find so interesting and love about show choir, one week you can be GC next week you might find yourself going home early. It is indeed show choir.

I love North's opener!

Thanks! I think what makes the song so good is the energy and intensity that we can create and bring to it and make it have. Along with Sway it is my favorite this year.

We got to compete this past weekend, though. So, all is good. Good luck there!

This is true, upset on our side of things though. I wasn't a big fan of Muscatine's show at state, but at Western Dubuque I could see some big changes and liked it a lot more. Very creative, fun and definitely unique. and good luck to Muscatine!

Who's all going to be here? Northisde Establishment will be returning again. Was a fun competition last year with Muscatine in attendance. Not sure if they are returning or not. Northside will look to make it 4 in a row and bounce back after a confusing Western Dubuque Invitational
