Awards are happening now.

These are the results that I had in the day... and I am sure they will probably not be anything like the judges had-

1st- Kennedy
2nd- Linn Mar
3rd- Washington
4th- Iowa City High
5th- Iowa City West
6th- Sauk Prairie

Best Band- Iowa City High

I think Kennedy will win by a landslide.

I'm question? How can you have kennedy at best vocals and band but in second.

Best band is awarded during the day so it very possible to have that awarded to a group that finishes in 2nd. And the way the scoring breaks down it is very possible have captions be all over. It's rare but happens

So we are heading out, and can't wait for an awesome day of show choir!

Just like jay, if you see me don't hesitate to come say hi, we're all friendly. And when jay says we are with a small group of people, he means like upwards to 15 people, hah.

The situation here in Wisconsin is nasty, but I'm glad Sauk (and Reedsburg) still get to go down and represent us in Davenport! Predictions:

GC: Linn-Mar
1RU: CR Kennedy
2RU: CR Washington
3RU: Iowa City West
4RU: Sauk Prairie
5RU: Iowa City

My predictions...I realize this is a tad bit bias and this is only based on the groups I am familiar with!

GC: Linn-Mar

1RU: CR Kennedy

2RU: CR Washington

3RU: Sauk Prairie

4RU: Iowa City West

5RU: Davenport North

I think this is a TOTALLY possible outcome at Great River. I think Iowa City High has the possibility to wow everyone (especially if their band kills day round) and place really high... like 4th or 5th. I think Iowa City West has the possibility to go up to 2nd or 3rd with a great show. Linn-Mar could also have a sloppy show and not get GC. This competition is really close and SO many things can happen. One of those competitions where everyone has to perform TWO really great shows. It's gonna be a fun day
