It got a little too REAL for him apparently. haha

From what I remember the other judges telling me, he said something like, "Oh, well we definitely won't be coming back in here." So I think he figured that they were going to cancel the rest of the show and just left.

The most interesting part that Nick left out was the fact that before the gas leak, there were five scoring judges... and after it, there were only four. One of them decided in the 15 minutes of evacuation to just go home.

What on Earth??

I'm pretty sure Keokuk didn't have any choice in the matter. His scores for the first 3 1/2 groups in finals were thrown out and not used.

Does anyone know why he just left? That's really weird. Wonder if he'll get anymore judging jobs in the future.

That sounds slightly... unfair? Did he come back or not scored??

Wow what a freak accident. Kudos to Glenwood on being able to put that aside and carry on with the performance.

From what I understand, a chunk of ice fell off of the roof and hit the gas meter, causing it to break and leak gas everywhere. They had to clear the gym in the middle of Glenwood's finals performance. Luckily, they resolved the problem quickly and Glenwood picked up with their ballad again and finished their show.

Adam, do we have any details on this gas leak???? How did they deal with it, or what caused it?
